OVERALL OPINION
I just bought it a week ago, that's why I'm gonna put a short notice that I will complete later.
I tried many mics, the AKG Perception 100 which is the bottom line but also the AKG C414 BXLII, Neumann U87 and U89, AEA R84 ...
I used it on an acoustic guitar .... and frankly it sounds!
I placed it about 25cm of the strings at the resonance box level, it gives a sound with tremendous depth where we hear all the details. Unlike a U87, it's a less neutral and more colorful sound with a natural pleasant warmth.
Sold in a small suitcase with it's control box and suspension but .... Made in China ....
For now I think it´s very good value for money but, like I said, haven't bought it long ago, so I surely re-post another review later.
