SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Completely compatible with the machine. Software light enough even if you add various effects and treatments for multiple tracks, the computer follows easily.
OVERALL OPINION
I use Garageband for 1 year and I am very happy. I used Cubase before investing in an Apple laptop and I must admit that the simplicity of Garageband is very significant in relation to the complexity and heaviness of Cubase. I use it with my Line 6 sound card to record guitar, bass, vocals, percussion etc.. And I also used to mix samples in WAV format audio coming from my Digitech loop pedal.
The effects are truly integrated property, whether for guitar pedals or for mixing, I find my account.
I only regret that some features such as reversing an audio sample to read backwards but it must turn to Logic Pro!
Also, it is not possible to export to WAV, which is a shame since apple format is not recognized by everyone.
