See more advice, he loops around, but not the curlers.
There are two main modes of loops on the three available tracks:
or sounds are played down, or the loops are sequenced, with or without syncrho for two modes which allows for complex possibilities.
The functions of each pedal may be reassigned for each of the 99 patches, which can be very useful for example to start playing to a sample.
For me, there is a weak point, that on a track overdub everything is done and we can not recover each layer separately on a PC to play with a sequencer.
Well since we have three tracks, we still three separate samples.
This is probably related to the amount of memory available, which often appears as a weakness (I vacuum regularly on a PC, so no problem on that side).

UTILIZATION

Manual in french or better in English because the translation is sometimes a little ambiguous.
It would be very careful to stop at the "Quick Start" manual as the features are not intuitive. Everything is configurable, pedals, MIDI control.

I use a rather complex routing of signals since I came back my instruments - vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussions roland and exit loop RC50 - 8 tracks on a AW16G sends itself the instruments on the entrance RC50. In short, it allows me to have when I register each layer separately + track loop.

Next afternoon, I had no problem to drive my RC50 for my AW16G so I do not understand the previous reviews (the manual is really that complicated?). I use the MIDI Clock and MTC for non sync. And it works. The tempo of the RC50 is well tuned to the click of my AW16G and it also receives the carefree twelve o'clock start / stop.

Regarding the first problem that is not played, it's true that I am not pose any problem because it allows me to see if I looped well.
That said, I tried yesterday the new boss of firmware and after installation, you can start the Boss RC50 by pressing [loop sync] + [clause 2], and after it plays the loop from the first sample san worries

SOUND QUALITY

Very good, you can listen to an improvisation done in one take, which I was happy enough to put it on my album - on Jamendo:

This is the final piece: "09 - bonus loop - the spy".

There is almost nothing that had to mix / master (a bit of compression)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 8 months, and I've never been as happy and as productive as I have since this gear. This is a working tool and creating incredible, and yet I feel like using all possible functions (including adding a MIDI foot controller).
You can buy it eyes closed, it's really a good machine
