Configuration is as simple. I started to feel the looping with this pedal. I play bass and guitar. It allowed me to have fun at home by combining percussive layers, rhythm, riffs of bass and guitar riffs. It happens very easily to a very convincing result. However, as noted by other users, set the level to 14h or 15h to have a volume that corresponds to that of the input. It is a curious absence knowing TC Electronic, especially since it should not be difficult to correct.

SOUND QUALITY

No complaints about the sound quality is at the rendezvous. Whether on guitar, bass, the sound is made. It's a little bit to pick up when we play in rehearsal on a big bass stack with a big sound dub ... but as I said, it's not really made for that. On a small system at home is frankly beyond reproach.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few months. This is my first looper and I will keep it to hack at home, use for which it excels, especially at this price. For group play, it would erase two flaws: the volume knob and tap to stop playing the pedal. And to be really usable in concert, it would take several "channels" in parallel (3 or 4) in order to have more control over each of the loops.
The value for fun solo and discover the world of looping with a reliable tool without being disgusted by a gas plant is frankly very correct. I advise very strongly for that use.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use:
- First click: Red LED, recording is started. As soon as one releases the switch, the LED turns green and recording in a loop
- Second click: overdub
- Quick double click: it stops the loop
- Long click: it clears the overdub.
- Short click and long click: clears the loop

Here we see the flaws of the show: managing off with a double click, it's just hell live / group of conditions, because it is almost impossible to stop the loop at just the right moment, or remove the overdub appropriate time.

A stop button as the X2 version would have been 10 times more convenient.

I read so many positive things about this looper. We must stop otherworldliness. In the "simple little looper" gender, Ditto is not practical:
too small, hidden led by the foot as soon as you use it.
I emphasize the idiocy of this stuff: a looper is very tricky to use. Especially when it is a single switch that controls "recording / reading / erasing / on / off ...", it is essential to have a clear view of what is happening.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

This is THE feature for which I acquired this looper.
I previously had two Boss RC-3 RC-300 two excellent products except incidentally in the main for my taste, namely the quality of sound reproduction. Boss err on the quality of the sampling loops, not to mention they are not true bypass and transform the signal even when they are not used (and need to be plugged in / on).
Ditto is the opposite of the Boss features a minimum and maximum sound quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year, having owned and used the Boss RC-3 and RC-300.
Bosses are much more feature rich but this abundance of features was more anti-creative and inspiring for me, not to mention the quality of the return of samples and bypass far from transparent.
Ditto is the tool for me (almost) perfect: quality sampled sound and ergonomics PoussMouss ("You push it and foam") which is my line of conduct in my entire musical practice gear level.
I can add one caveat, which is not really as a shortcut: To use Live more, stopping the loop double tap is difficult to manage - that is why I think replace the Ditto X2, only the second configurable in Stop footswitch. But for home use and others to repeat his work improvisation, composing, etc.. this is the perfect tool: it knows how to forget, both in handling and in its sound reproduction. OVERALL OPINION

I had a Jamman I eventually sell because I do not exploitais to its full potential. When I saw the Ditto out, I told myself that this is what I needed and he is perfect starting point!
I would advise the Boss loopers to build pieces but to keep a rhythm during a solo, arpeggio, or to add a track to the rhythm or to work at home, the looper need you!

Know what you want before you buy it, it has nothing in common with the other loopers market but if you want a looper for the uses described above, its transparency and simplicity make the number 1.

Looper hyper simplissime. Recording function / loop 5 minutes. More than enough to use that I have. A loop of one minute is already very long.

This is the most transparent sound quality I know. I had other looper (RC3, RC50 ...) and there is no photo. The ditto is completely neutral and does not alter the sound of the guitar. The loops are the natural hyper shot. We do not see the difference between the loop and the sound played live. This is what I like most in this looper, its transparency.

It's been one month that I use. The only "negative" thing was that there is a memory recording. (Guarded when power is turned off).

UTILIZATION

The only problems I encounter:

For me, it is exactly that, I eased my pedalboard a Jamman (which was indispensable before because I used much of the memory banks 100, but today this is no longer the case) . I know very well the RC20 also ... So in the case of use described above, I really strongly recommends small Ditto.

- Pedal loop, with 5 min of recording (one recording track) without overdub limit. An on / off switch and a volume knob to adjust the volume of the loop.
- 9V supply type boss, not possible on battery power, a USB port (for MAJ in TC).

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY
