I bought this guitar at guitar center for roughly five hundered bucks. I utilize it in a garage band in PA.

I love the sound of this guitar, its tone basically destroys all aspects of my fellow band - mates ibanez. I love the action, its fast and like buddah.

positives -
low price
good sound
nice action
solid construction

negatives -
crappy tuning keys (replace them!)
the jack fell off of mine, and i don't play aggressively

It's built pretty solidly. Considering the amoung of abuse its been put through driving to shows (packed in my compact car) it has proved its resiliancy over and over. Unfortunatly the tuning keys are rather cheap. I replaced them and i recommed you do the same. One small tremor and you're out of tune.

Overall, i love this guitar, im planning on buying either a gibson les paul studio or standard (nothing like the "real" thing). Even though im about to casually cast it aside, it has been there for most of my great moments in my band, and i will always be grateful to epiphone for making such a price friendly guitar that sounds so great.
