Slash inspires Gibson

Actually, not only one but three limited edition models will be released, one from Gibson Custom, another from Gibson USA, and finally an Epiphone version. All will be released simultaneously around the world and will not be reproduced once they’re sold out. Each of the three guitar models have been designed and produced in close co-operation with Velvet Revolver (and former Guns N’ Roses) guitarist Slash. All models will combine individual design features with Slash’s own personal touches to create a unique instrument.

The high-end Gibson Custom Shop Inspired By Slash VOS (Vintage Original Specs) Les Paul model was designed as a close replica of Slash’s original 1988 Les Paul—well, at least as it was before he (in his own words) “beat the hell out of it”. It features Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups and comes with a custom shop case with Slash logo artwork, a certificate of authenticity and a redemption form for an exclusive leather jacket with a custom interior logo label.

The Gibson USA Slash Les Paul Standard comes with a special limited edition case with white interior and Slash designed logo, as well as a certificate of authenticity. The Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Plus Top will include the new Slash autobiography, custom hard case, custom strap and picks and a numbered certificate of authenticity.
