The handle is quite enjoyable, it is not as comfortably as a scratch or other type ibanez mtal more, but it's even better now what most lespaul I think.

As in the lespaul gnral is not top top!

- Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
Same excellent! It takes trs quickly in hand, she is amazingly lgre (3kg), the handle is easy enough, it does not catch. The instrument looks really robust.

The-clean: just beautiful, everything goes, it's really warm and rich trs without be bold, even on micro serious! Overall the sound is really big, powerful and warm it dead!
Disto-La: It is too warm trs! Against by the sound of the guitar is so rich that has quickly become serious in the draft! You really have to be careful in the gain and low dosage, may soon become the great anything!
Overall, the sound is good, but you have to bother much rgler the disto!

- What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?

It's basically a Les Paul Studio with body, neck and mahogany table. Rosewood fingerboard.
And Satin finish instead of shiny. With a cellulose varnish, which gives it a rough or raw wood (very root)

UTILIZATION

Despite ct rough (or porous) the handle is a true Savonette. More ngligeable not, if like me you have sweaty hands that end up hanging after a while on the sleeves varnish (or polis), the more problem. Ms. drenched in sweat slid himself.

Access in acute is typical of a Les Paul. For me is a freestyle from the 18 fret.

The weight is amazing for a Les Paul, just 3 pounds. Really trslgre (a surprise is the right ...)

For sound, well frankly is branch and it's good. Sound fantastic

Store I compared with the high-end home piphone. I wanted to see the top difrence between the home and between Epi-end at Gibson. This Gibson Les Paul Studio was made in the USA. It has a worn brown neck and body, both made of mahogany. It has a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. This Studio came with two Burstbucker Pro pickups, two volume and two tone controls, and a three way toggle switch.

UTILIZATION

Like with most other Les Pauls, access to the higher frets can be a little difficult, but with a little practice it is easy to get accustomed to. Unlike other Les Paul models, the Studio does not have binding on the body which gives it a rounder edge that is more comfortable for resting your arm. The tone of this guitar is round and fat without sounding dull. The tuners are the vintage style Klusons which I have heard some people complain about, but I have never had any issues with my guitar staying in tune.

SOUNDS

I use this guitar with a Peavey Classic 50 2x12 combo. I play all varieties of “rock,” and this guitar fits the bill perfectly. I did not like the Burstbucker pickups when I got the guitar so I replaced them with an EMG 81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck. Compared to my Les Paul Custom, the Studio lacks some crispness due to the lack of a maple cap and the rosewood fretboard. The Studio does not sound bad by comparison; the tone is just a little rounder.

OVERALL OPINION

My thing that first attracted me to this guitar was how it looks. The natural brown, unfinished body has only one coat of nitrocellulose, so the guitar has hardly any shine, which is fine by me. The flat black EMG’s look excellent against the brown, especially once I removed the shiny, black pick guard. Guitar Center was selling these for $699, which is a great deal for a USA Gibson Les Paul. If I had to, I would definitely buy this guitar again.

Made in USA of course (I hope for, given the price, you wonder more if they do not outsource some production somewhere in Asia ... knowing that it is sufficient then to assemble and make 2 or 3 above tinkering for the right to put "Made in USA" ... well it does not matter it's still written on it and it's stupid but it's fun!).
She is beautiful in "faded". The lack of polish (well, rather the very thin layer of cellulose varnish) gives him a small side roots not bad at all.

Regarding pickups: Gibson after the site, this is the latest model outputs of two Burstbucker Pro, unlike traditional 490T and 490R usually fitted to the studio series. These are the same pickups as the Les Paul Standard. Wow!

Go the only "black spot" in the table of specifications: it comes in gig bag made in china ... I said it often prefers gig bag lours still much less to carry.

UTILIZATION

The handle: Les Paul too. I am a regular visitor to this type of run and I've always preferred to the sleeves of Fender. The thin layer of varnish is applied over an advantage here: the hand slips incredibly well and does not "glue" not after a time as is often the case on the sleeves Gibson.

Access to acute: bin there too, it's a Les Paul. Easily without being unbelievable.

Ben décoiffe it! What a real Les Paul. The microphone is acute nervous, good rock, with a high output while retaining a characteristic enough vintage and a very nice accuracy, even in larger distos. And the sustain! Astonishing!

The micro serious surprised me first. Well as fat as you might expect, I still found much less accurate than the micro acute.

The output level is low (normal is done on purpose they wound a little less acute than the microphone which was wound a little more than normal) and it seemed that he "drooled" a little too big distos. Notice to relativize that said, I actually turned the High Gain on my Pod and my studio monitoring speakers.

That said, happened in his clear, micro serious shows its true purpose: there is happiness! To wish a warm, not too powerful to be out "real" sounds clean, well-blues, even jazz if you will.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it three weeks. It's a real pleasure. I had (I always elsewhere) the Variax which gave me very good sounds Les Paul. Here is my true (and believe me if you want but the Variax was not that far in the sound performance), with the sound I wanted and a price unimaginable just last year: 690 €.
I want a second just in case!

So a partially hollow mahogany body and, importantly, a table carved maple. It means already empty, it sounds loud and sounds great.
Burstbucker pro microphones and rhythm lead pro, alnico5 and classic control panel. But modern pots are mounted on a print and the rest comes over to connect via connectors, it's super clean and easy to disassemble so. Cool.

Gibson deluxe mechanical, not sure if the agreement is held to the height of good looks but we'll see.
Only regret the serious mic does not provide an option to split, will have to work and it promises to be cotton ...

UTILIZATION

First, the feel of the guitar is fabulous, almost raw wood that is unique in producing this kind of guitar copies included, besides that's why I took it.

The handle is polished enough, not fatigue and allows all, well done. The frets are wide and mostly flat, not common. Their edges are not quite finished, but mind that it involves tile, I'm surprised. Frets correctly installed, not one who breaks ranks.
Access ozégu very correct, and then I usually like to have a good place to put the left thumb.

The ergonomics are very good, a chamfer to our shores would be welcome but let's not quibble.
The body weight thanks to the dug is reasonable, it's all good.
In short it is excellent.

When empty it sounds and resounds, and long. Hype found exactly that.

For clean, jazz, rock, this guitar is very heavy super. For blues I find too fat anyway, so I want the mic splitter serious.

UTILIZATION

* The handle is it nice? bluntly: I always played with a stratovolcano, and there is no adaptation time, great for solos or rhythmic arpeggios.

I put new, because very good characteristics (especially for that price) and very good look, but I think it must age rather badly due to the lack of polish, and chambered body that seems too light to be tough ( we'll see over time!)

UTILIZATION

It's a Les Paul, everyone knows what it is ... Canadian logger to a lack (although, at least on this guitar I found) with the latest cargo easily accessible. But that's why we love it! Several users complained about the ergonomics to play sitting in my case I had no problems. With regard to obtaining a good sound, it is shown in 27 seconds to hand without the guitar. Two volumes, two tones, and a 3 position switch: it is frankly a no-brainer, especially since it does not sound too bad everywhere.

I play rock (sometimes rather punk, sometimes quite hard) on a Marshall JCM stack and this guitar is perfectly suited for this style. It's very Plug'n'play: we do not ask questions, the branch, you turn the amp, [we'll have a beer with the guys as long as heat lamps], we play: it sounds . I use it mainly lead, with a lot of gain and crunch. I have however tested clean, and I was quite surprised: not bad at all! After Gibson + Marshall is obviously not ideal to play the config clear and clean, but at the grain it was perfect! Sustain also a very good I think, a little lighter than a Les Paul Studio: probably related chambered body.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week, after trying several models of all brands and budgets (I "forgot" to tell the seller that I do not fuck € 5000 in a guitar). Precisely for its quality / price I chose this model ... I thought the guitar just 650 € you might expect from Epiphone improved, but as the salesman says so: you pay a much stronger brand image on models to 3000 € on what type of guitar!
And he's right. I tried a PRS SE, Fender Telecaster, Stratocaster, Gibson LP Custom Shop (knowing full well that I do not buy it), and a whole bunch of other instruments. I was ready to put a good minimum wage in my guitar, but listening to the Faded I cracked, and honestly it is well worth the Les Paul "normal" that are worth double in terms of quality. That does not sound the same, not better, but it is not worse: it remains to be seen if you will please you.
With experience and still no win the lottery, I would do this choice without hesitation. I feel my present to buy a second backup, you never know.

OVERALL OPINION

's the story: For years I dreamed of paying me a Gibson for that "the true sound of Rock" ohh yeah (I'm leaving .. oups. easily in my delirium).

This year I finally had the means to pay me a Les Paul Studio ... Alpine White with gold finish (beautiful) but first I wanted to check if this guitar was made for me.
So, come to the music store, I explain that I come to a Les Paul studio .. and traditionally it tells me there is also Epiphone ... I have nothing against this brand apart from that I want to fulfill a dream: Gibson or U.S. NOTHING! And yes I am confined, Epiphone is not for me!

And then I pass a Gibson at 684 € ... I asked if it was an opportunity! No no it is new! And the seller offers me confident to test 3 versions of the Studio: namely:

It's simple with the normal version I was happy, but with the Faded I fell in love: the sound,
the true sound, GIBSON THE SOUND!

After I learned she was fitted with the new burstbuckers Pro (and yes, it's not a fake it's true !!!).. That is why scratching out the REAL SOUND GIBSON, if you do not believe me, go test it's just FANTASTIC!

handle: I have been using for over a year and I must say that I fear the lack of varnish on the neck and body but in fact quite the opposite: it is really good and we had to blow a real contact with the wood. Access to treble that of the whole LP and the handle is comfortable to use. Attention is even more fragile when unvarnished!

Ergonomics: an LP BUT what the most and it is much lighter than its big sisters, and so you can easily withstand several hours without demolishing the shoulder.

Sounds: in fact this guitar is fairly versatile (without the 2-position crystal clear sound of a Start for example) with an overall sound enough medium (probably due to its mahogany body). The pickups are very origins of correct and accurate with a single round and micro nee drooling in saturation, the micro bridge sends light saturation as big distortion. Everything depends on the use but to cover the blues-rock at the Hard ... no problemo.

I almost take a epiphone LP ultraII ... but no regrets because for 150 or 200 euros more you have a REAL Gibson. I would do so from choice.

Made in the USA, it has the same characteristics as any Les Paul Studio. We find in particular a build quality and unbeatable setting and two microphones HB Gibson Burstbucker Pro hell (the same as the FA standard).
Worn Faded models (mine is Brown) really class. Instead of the usual thick layer of varnish on the Studio (sold more expensive), these models have a matte varnish stain that hints of the wood ribs. It is a version anti bling, sober, falsely Zen gifted early blues-rock.

UTILIZATION

Like I said, it's a Les Paul, so heavy, not really super comfortable, with a difficult access to acute ... Get used to the beast, the back muscles and all ... c'qu'on wants to know, huh!
The guitar also requires a little adjustment period for those who are not accustomed to both HB. But finding a good sound with the pickups of this guitar is not rocket science!

Is why we bought his first Les Paul to sound, to play rock and blues like our idols of the seventies ... and there is really great!
Both pickups are very differentiated, one pitched, nasal, the other serious rounder (I love).
Attention, the amp type plays a lot. If you really want to hear this gem, the best in my opinion it is a all-tube amp with a nice clean sound (I have a personal Blackheart Little Giant).
The sound is very full, very clean, very safe.

OVERALL OPINION

I use daily for two months. I tried several models before I decide, particularly models Epiphone Les Paul Standard, Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet, Hagstrom Super Swede and PRS SE. They do not happen to him in the ankle. For 600 €, one enters the world of musical instruments "for life". It is a few hundred dollars more than the models that I tried but ... Life is short, and it's not so expensive ...
The value for money is extraordinary. I do it again this election, of course.

Sounds clean: no comment! perfect, consistent, arpeggios, solo / / /

distorted sound: super wall of palm mute the microphones are far superior to EMG 81 active solo with harmonics and very easy loaded media.

OVERALL OPINION

I could (oh, like this is rare) compare some 6 models, new and used,
even mounted EMG81. The red model (2010 also) I liked but seemed to have a fuller sound in treble, hehe like what color ?!!?? account

At all points a perfect guitar, even before a LP Custom Supreme friend.

The only downside compared to custom (which cost between 2000-3000 euros) would be relieved that the body certainly take a tad less body solos, finish - which will certainly not Resita over 3-5 years of use (to see).
