I use it for more than two years and frankly it would go well. Having in hand a BCF2000, it has nothing to do, this is clearly not the same segment. Here we are in the laptop, hop, you put it in the pocket of the ordinary and we carry around with you everywhere.

Plastic fader caps are a bit cheap, but the buttons are very nice.

I use it for 4 years to control Ableton Live, sometimes alone, sometimes combined with Launchpad.

I mainly use Faderfox controllers (generation 2) that are of incomparable quality! However, the nanoKONTROL (provided you have installed the script "nanoKONTROL Myr" in Live) offers a completely satisfactory alternative to LV2/LC2 Faderfox, and allows me not to expose them to game situations for the risky Safety Equipment.
Otherwise, I tried to use a Nocturn (model without keyboard), but get the same satisfaction: the problem with Novation, it is especially the Automap.

What I like most: its price, ease of use, stability in MIDI, turn "cheap" does not exclude the robustness ...

What I like least: the pots (I would have preferred the endless pots), navigation between scenes (only one "way" possible), the fact that Korg has not arranged with Ableton to offer a script "nanoKONTROL" natively in Live 8 (fortunately, you can count on users, thank you ... Myraflur! but the manufacturer is just the shame).

I was looking for something to replace my slider on my axiom (That I sold to buy everything separately (fader drumpad, and piano). In terms of NANOKONTROL, I was immediately filled! Just a few days I have this controller, and it is very useful for multiple uses.
-First, on the sequencer, it is quite possible to mix with the Nano Kontrol, faders and knobs are small, but strong and surprisingly accurate. The switches are soft plastic and have a lot of game, but they still respond very well.
I have not used the software korg, which allows you to configure some stuff. Indeed, in Fl Studio 9, the Nano Kontrol is well recognized, and the transport buttons are automatically mapped (mode button "Loop" that does not exist in Fl studio, has even replaced by swinging between listening and that the pattern of the song.)
