To connect to my PC with XP (I said in response to another opinion, Windows NT, it is for the office, you can not do with computer music)
1 MIDI input and output, that's all I ask ...

UTILIZATION

Installation in 2 minutes top chrono without a hitch with the software drivers on CD, my PC detects the device as soon as I plug it is reliable in the image of M Audio product.

At first I connected to my box digital piano Yamaha P 80 and my Triton rack, I open Sonar, I set up my MIDI devices in the options, I put myself on a MIDI channel, and FLOW, a VST instrument with such course.

Then two days later, I put my keyboard-guitar Lag The Key instead of P80, and in Sonar it does not detect it ... still works Triton output (midi in) but that's it ...

I check that the concern is not with the Lag and its MIDI connections (I would have been pissed off) by connecting it directly to the Triton with a MIDI cable, but the two devices communicate together ... it's not normally the connections so it's UNO.

So I'm going to the website of M audio to download the latest drivers (well y'en that dates from early 2005 ... I tell myself ooh lala, I hope it's not what I ' earlier)

Ben and the driver on the site is larger, I install it in place of another, and since everything is working normally!

So if you have similar interests as I do not hesitate to download the latest driver. I put 8 to ca ... they could immediately deliver functional drivers ...

OVERALL OPINION

Apart from this concern with my Lag, easily adjusted, it will run, it does what I ask him, and besides it does not require the purchase and more MIDI cables if your keyboards and other sound modules are not too far from your computer, in home studio.

Before I had a M audio Firewire Audiophile, and I never had no problems with MIDI, or with any other sound card or MIDI case in fact.

Here, a good product not that expensive since it's serious and it works spot on!

EDIT I see my note seriously down!
Overnight, the MIDI cables of the box will not detect my device, an expander TRITON Lag and a master keyboard, the computer interface it worked. So I sent home as collateral Thomann, which I have returned one week later, but they did nothing, except tell me how to configure my interface in Cubase.
I gave them back a second time in their explaining that the problem was not from the "software" but it came in MIDI cables!
In short, they were sent home this time the M Audio, I just get it back a month later, and it still does not work ...

My PC is configured, the concern comes from the UNO, I do not know if the M Audio Service are chimney-builders or what, but I will not waste my time in this story!
I will send just a message to M audio Thomann also ...
I'll take one box at Edirol, with two MIDI cables and more, no more little boxes all in one, because if the MIDI cables integrated déconnent thing, I'm in the poo ...
If it works better for you, but if will have one concern, I hope you have better luck than me with the VAS of the brand!
