Simplicity.
I had seen on the web that there were drivers for Linux.

UTILIZATION

Works great with Linux. (Even no drivers to install with Ubuntu 10.04)
Is well recognized by the system and especially by the Jack audio server as midi device.

I use it on a Yamaha keyboard midrange (P-85).

OVERALL OPINION

I use occasionnelement for 2 years.
I have no other material for comparison.
