I wanted transfrer patches from my PC to my multi-effects Digitech GNX2.

- What is your config (Map mother / CPU / Ram / Hard, ...)?
ASUS mother, Athlon 64, 1GB ram disk 250Mb.

- Which instruments or systems you use ...?
Well I have not seen that uses not. Finally, no work properly. Error messages and many disfonctionements.

USE

- Are the drivers stable?
They do not provide. It would work "alone".

- Are they often put day?
Nope.

- What software do you use most often?
None.

- Do you ever happen to saturate the MIDI interface and if so, under what circumstances?
All.

NOTICE GLOBAL

- How long have you use it?
2 days. The time to tour options and realize that all I can do is return the product. Others have "been had" before me and trying unsuccessfully Internet solutions this problem. They are advised in general the M-Audio I'll surely buy me mrs.

- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
It's not cheap but it does not work (for what I'm trying to do).

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
No no.

- How do you report qualitprix?
Very bad.

I read the first post, I confirm that swissonic midi-usb interface works fine with tonelab LE. You have to follow this:


UTILIZATION

1. Make sure yout tone lab LE is on, your computer (mac book pro is mine) is on, cable midi-usb connected.
2. Behind the leds in the cable box, you have to select MIDI THRU. And of course put the cable port MIDI IN connected to the tone lab LE port MIDI OUT, and viceversa.
3. This interface is plug'n'play and it doesn't need drivers, at least in mac os x. You only have to be sure that it is detected in your computer. Run "midi audio configuration" in your computer and see if it is.
4. Run Tonelab SoundEditor and go to menu and select midi configuration, select yours, and click in "make default".

After that, it will work fine.

- What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)? A7N8X motherboard, Athlon XP 2600 +, 2GB RAM / / or mobile Athlon 64, 1GB ram
- Which instruments do you use or the Systmes? Attempt interfaage with Toneworks AX3000B (korg)

In the final great that ca be small and cheap ... but does not work either for me or for interfacing the hardware that I have line6 loan for testing.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it? 2 weeks of trying to make it work
- What is the particular feature you like best and least? the least .. it is not working
- Have you tried many other models before acqurir? Three other models more expensive with friends, one of the CATEGORY (level portability not in a rack)
- How do you report qualitprix? 0 of quality from cheap ... indfinissable.
- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ... I do not recommend this product even my worst enema.

- Use amatoriel for will integrate easily correct sounds in my compositions without having to buy a Korg Oasys.
- PIV 2.4 Ghz, 512MB RAM
- I use a sound card coupled INCA 28 low latency (ASIO), the sound is immediate. I connect over any keyboard with MIDI

UTILIZATION

- Drivers windows, recognized as "USB audio device" of some sort.
- I use it with Cubase SX3
- Never saturate the moment.

OVERALL OPINION

Arrter must say that it does not work. I had an equivalent of ESI and c'tait same. All dpend computer, not the same interface it. My computer has lots of problem, yet I connect the interface above and 10 seconds APRS everything worked. No problem setup, everything works perfectly.

1x1 midi-usb cable with a jack IN and OUT outlet, connects to a PC via a USB port, plug and play recognition in Windows XP, 16 MIDI Channels IN & OUT.
I bought this product Thomann cheap for my ZOOM G9tt connected to my computer.
The latter is newer (Pentium 4 duo, ram 1024 ...) and it only recognizes the audio interface of this product, not MIDI! so it does not work on my computer!
on the other hand, it works perfectly on my wife's laptop = egg saved from not having purchased anything in light of previous opinions!
Positive and compact design = no fun.

UTILIZATION

For drivers, I would short = nonexistent! nothing to configure.
For the site builder Swissonic = as absent (= one falls back on the site Thomann) so no update possible.
The software I use is that of Zoom G9.2tt Editor Librarian who used to set and save these patches on computer!
Well after a time it works, nothing to say, the data is transferred properly.

OVERALL OPINION

I for a week, happy not to have bought for nothing! Apparently, its operation depends on the computer configurations?? For now he fills his role so I will not have much "down" but I do not recommend it.
It is better to add a few dollars to buy a midi-usb interface more serious, with drivers configured.
Poor value for money + + + cheap for sure but also not terrible.

I have full MIDI interfaces, and this one works like the others, is just rename the audiomidisetup to give it a nicer name than "USB MIDI device"

Notice to persons who have difficulty with the installation: plug the interface into the computer, the computer You Started. configure the AMS (I do not think there is a core noon under XP) and will connect the MIDI instrument concern (CRER necessary, in my case a CGPA)

I was offered guitar rig software edition. So I looked for a cheaper guitar pdalier noon. I missed a midi interface / usb.
I have a PC with 512 ram an old cuckoo. So I was afraid that his oar, but no worries.

UTILIZATION

When was the use, nothing more complicated I plug the pdalier, I plug the midi interface, and now it's over. So nothing saturates everything works. I was not asking for anything more. The simplicity and non-crash ... So everything is fine.

OVERALL OPINION

So I use this interface for 4 months and I am happy in every way. I understand that people have had some problem. So I'm on the right tomb SERIES.
I have not had a try autree MODEL as given that this is the first prize and it suits me perfectly.
So yes I do it again with the exprience that choice without hsitation. I will not put 10 not to distort the problem that people have had but eight. But I would have to use my 10/10

It's small, simple and did what we asked ... except that:
the compatibility of the chipset with some motherboards / OS is not always responsible, and I have some traffickers to make it work on my macbook pro in bootcamp so I give those who s the thing ' to complain: Go through a HUB (and do not connect anything else on the hub). I read this thing on a forum, and AA seem to work for many people

For the record, it worked perfectly on Mac OS, but with XP under bootcamp I had to do this hack. But I add that this is not the fault of XP (for once!) Seen on my other laptop, a PC with the same pure XP, has walked alone ...

In short, if you already have a hub that's cool, but otherwise, for the price of 1x1 MIDI, plus the price of the hub, you find your srs to another that will work properly anywhere!

It is a simple midi-usb interface, plug and play is easy. There are two modes, one that transfers the South to the computer via the USB port (and vice versa) and the other for transferring the South between two devices via the IN and OUT jacks without the need for computer. There derrire a switch to switch the box.

UTILIZATION

I bought this product to save the presets on my Tonelab LE PC with Sound Editor but it never worked and it was only by reading the manual I saw ToneLab described in any small that it uses a proprietary encoding that is not automatically recognized by all interfaces.

OVERALL OPINION

To read the other reviews, aa seems to work with synths, but do not buy it for the Tonelab.

I was looking for a MIDI / USB simple to send and receive presets for On-Line Intellifex Rocktron via my PC (with a SysEx editor).

The Swissonic was recognized by the PC without problem (motherboard ASUS A8N-SLI Premium 2006 under Windows XP pack 3 with 2 GB of RAM), and the publisher Sysex was immediately recognized as well.

After setting the SysEx editor (editor Rocktron for their products) and Intellifex, no hassle to load presets with real-time changes etc..

The LEDs work well, no worries.

UTILIZATION

No drivers to install, plug and play!
And it worked the first time!

I mostly paddled to configure Intellifex and publisher are not familiar with MIDI. But in one hour with some information gleaned on the net, no problem!

OVERALL OPINION

Past 3 days!
I've configured most of my guitar presets for most of my groups!
I never tried another model it.
Nothing to say, it does the job.

Money? Difficult to judge, but in terms of time savings, ease and flexibility, it is a very profitable investment!
