The other new product that Rupert Neve will introduce next week at NAMM 2015 is a bay that will host 6 processors in API 500 format.
The Rupert Neve R6 features 6 slots for 500 series modules, with jumpers to chain the channels (1–2, 3–4 and 5–6).
On the back of the lunchbox, you’ll find XLR, TRS and DB-25 connectors. Thru-connections 7 and 8 allow for converting the signal from/to the DB-25, XLR and TRS connectors.
The R6 can receive any kind of microphone thanks to the built-in 48V phantom power. Speaking of which, Rupert Neve ensures that the power reserve is sufficient and avoids any voltage issue, even with demanding modules.
