I bought this guitar because I liked the way it looked, I mean transparent, black and widow headstock! That kinda looked cool! I got this guitar for $200.00 on music123.com, that was cheap!

The neck is a phenomenon, the sustain is like forever, it has a lot of gain and it sound agressive like hell!

It`s heavy but I got used to it, it`s just a matter of 2 days. If you practice on it you won`t even nottice!

Well, the body is made of Acrylic and it`s transparent, beautifull! The neck joint is bolt on ofcourse, the neck is made of hard mapple with a truss rod, the fingerboard is rosewood, chromed hardware, the headstock is made of Acryl and it`s laminated like at Ibanez, Jackson, Aria Pro...…

The neck joint is bolt on ofcourse, the neck is made of hard mapple with a truss rod, the fingerboard is rosewood, chromed hardware, the headstock is made of Acryl and it`s laminated like at Ibanez, Jackson, Aria Pro 2,...etc.. guitars. The humbuckers are BDSM probably the best factory humbuckers I`ve tryed, the can give you muddy bluesy tone and sharp cutting tone with a twist of a pot meter.

This is a great guitar overall, some people may hate it for it`s weight, but hey I`m a short guy, actually 171cm short and 63kg lite, and if this ain`t heavy for me I don`t know who is it heavy for?!? It looks great on stage, sounds devastating and the most important thing is that if feels great playin it!
I tested it with Zoom505,J-station,Genesys3,MetalZone,GT-5 and ADA MP-1 through Marshall JCM800,JMP,Heughes and Kettner Metroverb and my favourite Ampeg N-15B fliptop bass-amp, and it sounded perfect for me. If you play blues or jazz don`t buy it!

I seen this guitar on the bc rich site and though it was beautiful. a few months later it came up in a musicas friend mag, and i had to have it, got it for $529.99, got a coffin case for another $100, and it came in on ups in 3 days.

I love the look of this guitar, its a mouth dropper no doubt about it, the actionds extreamly smooth, and the neck just seems to b perfect to play on, tuners are of fair quality, and the electronics give your a master tone knob that u can use to crank distortion, or highs, when needed.

First off since this is a Korian production guitar, the set up sucked so much ass i cannot begain to tell you about, the fret buss on E was terrable, and the stock strings...…

First off since this is a Korian production guitar, the set up sucked so much ass i cannot begain to tell you about, the fret buss on E was terrable, and the stock strings were so small, it was like bending them when i would fret it making the intonation sharp. After raising the bridge slightly and adding a larger gadge string tho this problem is somewhat fixed, more than likely it will need a rod ajustment tho.

Quality, this axe is built to b banged around, it does weight quite a bit more than regular gutiars, about 13 pounds, but after you put it on ur back, its no problem, at least not to me, everything on it seems to b pretty solid, it will probelly last me a while.

Well when you buy it and change the strings and make a few adjustments to it, its a quality axe i must admit, and its a beauty, if your thinking about getting one, id say go for it, your won't be let down.

B.C. Rich Acrylic Series Warlock

Although i do not own this unit, my best friend does. He bought it at some guitar store a few miles from where we live. He got it because he thought it would be cool to have a translucent guitar. He paid around $1000 for it.

I really like how the guitar looks. Its translucent-red, warlock shaped, and widow headstock. the tuning pegs are good quality. Thats about all i like.

Where should i start...there are so many things about this guitar that i can't stand. First of all, its the heaviest guitar i have EVER played! after 5-10 minutes of playing it i had to sit down and rest it on my knee, and even that hurt. We weighed it, and it weighs 11-12 lbs!!!! Thats literally twice as much as most guitars weigh! The action of the guitar isnt great, the pickups kind of suck, and the guitar plays horribly. The neck is fairly uncomfortable.

The guitar is constructed well, but its constructed wrong! if they replaced the neck of it, i think it would be an ok guitar, but i have to object to the idea of making a guitar out of acyrlic. its MUCH too heavy!

I dont like this guitar much at all. If i were you, i would go spend my $1000 on some other guitar. Its definetly not worth buying. Id play it for yourself though, i think that youll agree with me.

Handle typical BC Rich, all dimensions (width, thickness, rounded down / flattened top, size frets etc. ...) are perfect for playing metal (heavy rhythmic power chords / solos twist), the same as on my other BC Rich ... BC Rich handle anything! rosewood fingerboard, I'm not sure of the essence of the handle itself. It is made of wood, except the head plexi. The junctions between the parties plexi (body and head) and the wooden handle and are glued together by a form a little "tongue and groove" cast in the plexi: it's beautiful, very well made and solid.

2 BC Rich humbuckers, their "shell" is made of transparent plastic red purple the most beautiful effect with all of the guitar. A selector 3 positions, one for each knob volume and a tone knob general style chrome, too perfectly assembled and adjusted for mechanical style chrome head also, aesthetically and finishing qualities: it is flawless!

UTILIZATION

As stated above, BC Rich neck optimized for a particular type of game so yes it is always nice :)
Ergonomics in terms of shape, it's a Warlock! So for most excellent hit hard! is not afraid to Riffer above, it is very simple, with a strat I feel like a toy in the hands and it may break at any moment. The Warlock is a skyscraper of hitter is acquired, no need to rewrite history ;)
Weight: a monster! plexi is very, very, very heavy! Yet the body is thinner than on my Warlock classic from 1993, and fortunately, because it would have been 10kg! Provide a well padded strap laaaarge not you fart a collarbone!
Access to acute: it is a BC Rich Warlock handle. Nothing to add it rocks.

Do you get a good sound easy?
this is its weakness: the BC Rich humbuckers sound drafts, suffocated, while lacking gain! However much you turn the selec knob and in every sense, this is "muddy", it lacks clarity, definition, potato. It will therefore make adjustments with your amp / distortion or change the pickups if you have the audacity. An instrument as beautiful, is not "tinker" with no. Or was absolute confidence, personal, I do not see myself risking a scratch or a wrong move in such manipulation, for you to see ...

SOUNDS

Sounds like what is said above average because of the microphones BC.
Dry unplugged sound is very good, as the guitar as a whole is done carefully, and as surprising as it may seem, the plexi sounds great! So yes it's a bit "cold" but the sustain is just ... crazy! it is very solid, I really like personally, which confirms to me that those are the mics who sin because it lutherie, ring!

OVERALL OPINION

almost 10 years.
favorite, I just tried the beast 5 minutes time to check the quality of finishes. it was not my first guitar, I already knew what I wanted and why should not need to make a big deal!
+ Feature: the look extraordinary, the overall quality of workmanship which I repeat is XEM-E-RE-PLAI, even for the BC Rich! (I have 4 shovels of this brand)
Feature - the weight! mics passable.

Quality / price ratio: excellent! purchased € 700, for such a manufacturing quality AND a devastating look, it's worth it.

With the experience I would take more because it no longer!
