« B.C. Rich Bronze Series Warlock »

I purchased this unit at Guitar Center at the Forest Fair Mall in Cincinnati , Ohio> I am the front man ( lead Singer ) for a band and , let's face it , all front men want to be guitar gods and all guitar gods want to be front men. So having given in to the stigma , I decided to go out and buy an electric guitar and try my luck at learning to play it. I've played around with acoustic guitars for years but could never really get the sounds I wanted from the music I so love. So I went to Guitar Center and looked at the BC Rich series. They had a beginner's pack with BC Rich Warlock , gig bag,strap,10 watt practice amp, cord and picks listed for $369.00. I thought that wasn't a bad price so I got the manager to come over. Believe it or not , we talked for a little while and he ended up giving it to me for $199.00! I laid down the plastic , took the package and RAN before he could change his mind. Killer deal!

It's a Warlock , of course and the styling is super cool. The lines just leap out and grab everyone's attention as soon as I pull it out. The tones are all I was looking for. When I want clean I just turn down the gain and it's clear as a bell. When I want a nasty growl or heavy metal distortion I crank up the gain and punch the grind button and all hell breaks loose! And getting it all in one package was a definate plus.

The machine heads are a little light on holding tune through a beating but I have to admit I am pretty rough on her. Also the amp is a little shakey when you really crank it but it IS a practice amp not a concert stack.

Very well made. The neck feels natural in the hand and it has a good weight. It came out of the box ready to play after minimal tuning and it was tight. No loose screws. The wood is beautiful and the black body has a deep finish. I was impressed.

For the price you will be hard pressed to beat this guitar. I am very pleased with it. I always thought you had to plunk down a grand to get a decent axe. Man was I ever wrong! I love it! Well made.Great sound. Solid as a rock. Thank you BC Rich wherever you are!
