UTILIZATION

The handle is quite special, because I'm used to that of my ESP LTD KH-202, ie flatter a handle, and end. It is wide, thick, but very comfortable! The strings are a chouillat high relative to the handle, but I got used to (a point that when I play on my Les Paul dude, I'm not comfortable even if it is more nice for solos).

SOUNDS

Sound, or rather the sounds are excellent! The Rockfield surprised me! The bridge pickup has the punch, he sends, without being cold. The neck pickup is as expected, warm and round. I play mostly hard rock, glam rock, some blues and some metal. Well, this shovel allows me to play all this! Sound has the Guns n 'Roses or Scorpions? No prob! It is made to AC! You can really get any of this guitar, although for typical metal palm mute I prefer my ESP.
The floyd rose is excellent, much better than my ESP!
I play a Line 6 SpiderValve 212, and sometimes a Marshall MG100-DFX, and whether on one or the other I get the sound I want, even if I almost never Varitone: I always leave the same position, it's true that I do not understand how it works too.
Ah, the mini little clarification of reverse phase switch is used to invert the mic used simple once you splité one or two humbuckers (one feels especially when you put the selector to use the media for 2 humbuckers). Means if you change the part of the humbucker used (up or down).
In short, I am filled, I get the sounds I've always tried in one guitar!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since February 2010, after a first guitar that I'd rather forget, and an ESP LTD KH-202 which I still have. I tried other guitars (Les Paul, Stratocaster Mexican, an Ibanez and 2, 3 models ESP).
And specifically, it has absolutely nothing to envy them, it was a sort of mix between a Start and Les Paul (I exaggerate a little, but really not much) with a Floyd Rose. I bought it looking for a warmer sound than my EMG ESP, I was directed to an Explorer in the beginning, but I really wanted a Floyd Rose!
In short, I love it, I just know I used 100% of the skyscraper (I mean the Varitone). The value for money is just huge, there was a scraper to keep long, good quality, versatile and look devastating. I would do without hesitation that choice, even to buy new in store.

For specifications, everything has already been said.
Overall, there is truly something for his money.

UTILIZATION

The handle requires some adaptation time, without being an oak beam, it is not one highway either. As he leaves many cons tame after a few minutes, and it sounds good on its entire length.
The body shape of this guitar always raises questions about the playability is true that at first they groped to find the right position.
Finally it is not a problem, it is well balanced, can spend hours playing sitting or standing without pain, despite a heavy weight!
Access to the treble is almost perfect, thanks to the handle driver uncluttered and ergonomic junction (I put only "almost" because at this point the handle becomes quite thick and becomes a little less controllable).
My biggest downside to the position of controls: selector handle pickups and volume are really not very accessible because they are located just below the stem of pink floyd.

SOUNDS

Again, for the price, it's luxury! The Rockfield pickups are not the shy type, we pass the hot fat in a tangy sharp throughout with many shades in between! The bridge pickup a little spit in "all right", we must know the temper. Splittage system is very effective: a switch for each pickup plus a third switch to reverse the phase: the sonic diversity is required. The Varitone leaves me a little about my hunger positions 1 and 2 quite stifle the sound, while the 5-position can make a sound loud and only two positions (3 and 4) are really usable for my taste.

OVERALL OPINION
