B.C. Rich Stealth Chuck Schuldiner Tribute

This guitar is the highest quality Chuck Shuldiner Stealth you can get from B.C. Rich. Chuck Schuldiner is well known in the metal music scene. Chuck is commonly referred to as the godfather of Death metal. Chucks band Death were at the forefront of the death metal scene for nearly two decades. Throughout that time Chuck pretty much played one guitar, a B.C. Rich Stealth. The Stealth was a pretty rare guitar back then and before this tribute model came out you could only get one through a custom order. The Stealth has a unique shape but it is perfectly balanced. It has an ebony fretboard although I think Chucks personal guitar had a rosewood fretboard. It has a 24 fret neck with a reverse headstock. The body is made of alder and has a single pickup. The pickup is the Dimarzio X2N which is the trademark of Chucks sound. It has a single volume knob and a wrap around bridge.

UTILIZATION

The shape of the guitar makes it very easy to reach the top frets. It has a neck through design so there is no large heel to get in the way of your playing. The shape of the guitar also helps balance the guitar so it is very comfortable when you play. The guitar is very light so it is comfortable to play standing up even on long gigs. The ebony fretboard is smooth and the jumbo frets let you have an easy action. The wrap around bridge takes a bit of getting used to. Atleast on this particular wrap around bridge you can still intonate your guitar. The quality control on this model is amazing. The frets are dressed perfectly and the there is not a sharp end to be found.

SOUNDS

This guitar is not very versatile. It is designed to get one tone and do it well. It is built for a metal tone. The X2N is a metal machine. It was one of the hottest pickups back in the day and it still is. It has a really balanced tone voicing so it will really respond to the wood of the guitar. With the alder wood on this Stealth you get a nice high end gain. It is hard to sound muddy with this guitar because it has so much clarity. The ebony fretboard and the neck through neck construction also provides more clarity as well. Plug it into an old 8100 Marshall and you instantly get the classic Death tone. The X2N does not provide a very good clean tone and there is no neck pickup to help out. The clean tone on the X2N is too bright and tinny so if you want a good clean tone you will have to dial your amp accordingly.

OVERALL OPINION

Chuck is a metal icon and now you can have a guitar like his. Before this came out Stealths where really hard to find and really expensive. This has made the Stealth affordable. So you wont find someone else at your gig playing the same guitar as you. This guitar has B.C. Rich custom shop quality so you wont get anything better than this from them. This guitar is not very versatile though but if you are just looking for a good solid metal guitar that is fit for a legend this could be for you.

Chuck Schuldiner was one of the people that help create an entirely new style of music -- death metal. I single handedly attribute his work in Death to be what started a revolution. At the very least, it kicked off the Florida death metal scene. This guitar was made just like he had it. It has an alder body with a neck-thru mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard with 24 frets and diamond inlays, a shorter overall scale, one X2N in the bridge and one volume knob.

UTILIZATION

The guitar feels great. It's really just a more extreme and modified Explorer shape, and I always thought they felt pretty cool when sitting down with them. The fretwork on this was awesome, and I rate it among the best out there. They were polished to a bright shine, and they were properly beveled. The bridge felt nice in the hand, and although I'm more of a floyd guy, I can easily get used to this guitar. The lack of a neck pickup also helped give it a very cool "no nonsense" vibe.

SOUNDS

The guitar absolutely sounds ripping. I was never a huge fan of Death's tone, but this guitar sounds killer. It has a unique construction in terms of wood, but it seems to work with the X2N. The X2N truly pushes any amp into something that's chaotic, brutal and punchy. It has treble that'll sear your face off, but it seems to mellow out just before it gets harsh. It's also one of the tightest passive pickups out there, so you don't have to worry about a muddy mess when playing this thing.

OVERALL OPINION

If you're a big fan of Chuck, you gotta pick this guitar up. Even if you're not, this guitar is one awesome shred machine that'll deliver some powerful tones no matter what style of metal you play. I wish it had a neck pickup, but that's my own personal feeling as someone who tends to play more leads.

USE

The handle is very pleasant not varnish gene in the descent of the handle, on the other hand if you were on super late innings before as it is which is more or less fashionable now there a little time to adapt the handle profile.

the access to acute 24em until the box is very ais thanks to the handle driver and dcoupe guitar. the guitar is pretty lightweight, the shape is beautiful, she looks round side, but with a good strap and lightweight enough its weight becomes no longer a problem. 9/10

This beast is DETAILEDREPORT for its Mtal it sees ^^ The X2N done very good job, beautiful mdium which is very good for perc mix in a group without this fatigu.Ce which is convenient for rhythmic played the amp medium can be dug to dull the sound while remaining audible (if we do not abuse the medium knob too ^^).
A clean, powerful sound (currently rises skull string 11-58 she win a really nice fat) distortion and prcis. Whatever a bit difficult to handle especially at the beginning that I was still young guitarist when I buy, it allowed me to improve myself considerably.

I am rhythm guitarist and I use it in consquence but for a shreddeur, but happiness between the microphone and the handle.

the clean sound is suitable for such a high micro can be released in shooting something small intro clear but not much more. It's obviously not his role.

10/10 as great mic for my style of play and sonority.

I ais for over 2 years, as a big fan of death metal chuck and I could not resist to try it in the store and playing it I'm fell in love ^^.

It all it takes to be a beast of metal, the look, the violin, the sound the only small default is that it leans a little. I did pay 883euros store and it gave me a wonderful cover of 90euros value price quality ratio is excellent.

It has nothing to envi other guitare.Voila my opinion but if my advice is to sseill guitar if you made the occasionet your own opinion
