The upcoming NAMM 2014 will see the debut of the Framus Idolmaker guitar series.

Stevie Salas ought to be a household name for many, given his work with artists such as Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, and Justin Timberlake to name a few.

Framus recently teamed up with Stevie to create the “Idolmaker” model range, which comprises three different models so far and will be officially launched during the upcoming Winter NAMM 2014 show.

The Framus Idolmaker Stevie Salas Signature model features a Maple neck, Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard with Indian Feathers inlays and a Mahogany body with a 1" AAA Quilted Maple top. Further, the guitar is equipped with Original Seymour Duncan pickups, passive MEC electronics, a five-way switch, a toggle “killswitch, ” and a TonePros Tune-o-matic bridge.

The Framus Idolmaker comes with a Mahogany neck, Tigerstripe Ebony Fingerboard, Mahogany body with Flamed Maple top, original Seymour Duncan pickups and a TonePros Tune-o-matic bridge.

The Framus Idolmaker Five’R comes with a Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, Red Alder body with Flamed Maple Top, Nordstrand pickups and a GraphTech Wraparound Resomax bridge system.

The Framus Idolmaker series will be available from April 2014.
