Music Man announces the availability in Europe of the latest John Petrucci electric guitar, a model that had been introduced in January.
The Music Man JP13 features complete overhauled electronics, with the addition of a preamp and a push/push boost to control de new DiMarzio Illuminator pickups. These ceramic magnet humbuckers are, according to DiMarzio, quite versatile and provide a high level of output. DC Resistance is 10.5 kOhms for the 6-string bridge pickup, 10.50 kOhms for the neck model and 7-string Illuminator provide a DC Resistance of 10.42 kOhms (neck) and 11.17 kOhms (bridge).
The guitar is available in 6 and 7-string versions with a piezo.
