Used, mint condition Peavey Firenza P90 electric guitar
Published on 08/05/19 at 19:44Bought an excellent condition, barely used, USA made Peavey Firenza P90 with original hardshell case for $330 about a month ago. I can't put it down. Plugged it into a turn of the century American made Peavey Delta Blues with a 15" speaker. Great tone, the P90 pickups made by Gotoh are clear and thicker than a Fender single coil when played clean and distorts easily and tonefully.
Love the feel of the medium thickness of the neck, has a fairly flat 15" radius fretboard that feels a little different, but I got used to it pretty quick. Hangs balanced off the strap. Tuning machines feel solid and stay in tune even after heavy bending of strings. The tuneomatic bridge and the stopbar...…

Tuning machines feel solid and stay in tune even after heavy bending of strings. The tuneomatic bridge and the stopbar tailpiece were both recessed. Kind of an unusual design but had no problems with it. Maybe this was an early attempt by Peavey to make the bridge and tailpiece more solid a la tonepros, but that is just speculation on my part.

A pearl True
Published on 10/26/14 at 18:23 (This content has been automatically translated from French)Too well described by other guitarists; has nothing more to say except that it is a guitar that impressed me the most with its value for money .This is more than 10 years that I bought.
Unfortunately mine; cream; became unsaleable because I strongly Beugné nail in the face ... (big crisis); but I still care; and I think it's expensive for me couterai to arrange; on a skyscraper at 400 euros is not worth it. But hey .. ..sniff, anyway ..
UTILIZATION
The flat radius is a little unsettling for speed but it's true that it's good.
SOUNDS
Instrument rather dedicated to rock n roll.
Great microphones effective; fine grain, especially in the clear.
Distortion devastating ..

Difficult to compare with other models of solid body like paul or fender; in fact; I find the unique sound quality is really ..The appointment with this type of equipment. She is soon forgotten guitar sir "everyone" ..

U.S. good and cheap.
Published on 02/24/14 at 15:58 (This content has been automatically translated from French)The model is fairly well detailed by my predecessor. I would add that it is the result of a job well done by the workers of the Mississippi work bygone era before the era of outsourcing ..
The construction is impeccable, wood (handle) as a sugar maple, very hard, gives it a very slamming stamp, highly crystalline, slap like a telecaster, and the clarity of p90 reveals more character slamming .. This is far from a more subdued Les Paul sound .. However it does not lack bass and the balance between bass and treble is pretty good ..

on the other hand like all P90 and I am not impressed by the background noise and interferences of this type of microphones .. The firenza is perfect for Heavy, fast game play and modern short .. the distortion .. They are perfect in clear until crunch, and not disgusting in High-Gain .. But too polluted at this stage by the interference ..
The electronics and pickups are MIJ .. very good ..
UTILIZATION
The handle is a very flat radius 15; little action be well down low, there is low .. high frets crossed a little more difficult with frets "jumbo" but more accurate intonation involved finger ..
Worn on the body it seems a very short guitar (because of his small head) is very nice.
Thick handle like a Les Paul custom, not end like a yamaha, but sweet anyway ..
SOUNDS
Not a Jazz Guitar Man, except perhaps for jazz fusion ..
Not a guitar with p90 schredeur ancient ..
I recommend to change the bridge pickup for a microphone to P90 format, but "humbuckerisé" (high gain) and can be found at DiMarzio ..
OVERALL OPINION
Form is very successful, its creator Jim Decola was also Master Luthier
in the Custom Shop has the GIBSON.Je Black Gloss slightly glittery, it's very pretty.
Great guitar .. U.S. is very economical to look MusicMan, or EVH .. Love ..
Basic settings has good guitars are present; easy truss rod punched a tilt swivel wheel .. unscrewed stop heel; intonation at the bridge ..
For sickened scrapers to vibrato tuning ephemeral .. it must be this modèle.Et there is a sufficient number of frets for walking solo ... I am very fussy about the different aspects of a guitar I say Congratulations. Moreover, it is a rarity that will sought on the second hand market and to shape it does not go out of style.

UTILIZATION
Channel super nice and comfortable, wide enough, this is not a highway Japanese furious solo at high speed, but rather a comfortable handle adapted to the game Rock vintage.
As I said above the guitar is pretty well balanced. Its unusual shape to think of a LP junior with a projection that would have pushed lol.
Level design, it was designed by Jim Decola, luthier in Fender custom shop ... So original design you either love or hate.
Overall this is a no frills guitar we'll have the essentials ... make good sound!
access to treble is good but not that much worse than a SG.
SOUNDS
I was looking for a guitar equipped with P90 (I love the grain of P90), and this guitar by chance discovery on the Web has really exceeded my expectations.
The P90 guitar sound that damn good! It is the ideal instrument for the Blues, Rock, Hard Rock 70's. The sound is fantastic as his clear position on micro serious sound is jazzy, and adding a little crunch is the sound of blues that takes precedence!
In short we have a typical sound of P90 round, full ... the perfect compromise between single and double coil ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 2 weeks, I stumbled on it and I do not regret my choice. I highly recommend this guitar, although it is very rare on the French market.
I like everything about this guitar, it is simple, we will have essentially no frills. Good wood, good microphone, no frills ... an instrument of pleasure!
Level value for money go for it! $ 700 to its U.S. release, they are found secondhand at around 200 € ...
