Value For Money :
Excellent
- Tobacco sunburst CE24 Modl 1999 (maple top)
- Manufacturing United States (a pice of mahogany body, but I'm not sr it is still a pice today with a table in Saddle flame, which is itself in 2 pices and is simply splendid!
- Round 24 frets, 2 humbuckers (PRS HFS bridge ct / ct Vintage Bass neck) are double and split, and has 5 positions slecteur (double bridge alone, and three split positions double handle single)
- Stantard PRS vibrato bridge with trs is flexible (eg comparing a fender)
- For knobs: one volume, one tone and a 5 position rotary slecteur
- Bolt (the diffrence with custum al o the handle is, but it gives more versatility to the 24 cases, a slap in a little more clear sound, a little fender) and is in Saddle with a rosewood fingerboard with a unique quality: it is of velvet, for the size, it is a fairly standard PRS so late, but with a round profile trs agr able (it's not too late as the guitars sizes for acrobatics ...)
UTILIZATION
- The handle is a MODEL of comfort, it never forces, it smells and sounds the boxes (well you need to know to play a minimum) in short, everything seems easy! This is antithse Gibson on this point, so not all gibsonniens n'apprcient forcment! Me j'adorre.
- Access in acute is no problem because the body is thin and allows good shape PRS Access in dernires boxes (another ct I must admit that I do not often dernires boxes is not really my thing)
- Usability issue, it is enjoyable trs, we feel the mahogany, but without being too heavy in short, the still enjoyable trs.
- Whether a PRS CE or custum (I can not guarantee for ranges below) gives a good sound is almost an insult! TRS is simple, there is just plug it ...
SOUNDS
Ah, finally the sound! To set the mood, I bought this guitar used in 2004 so that is 4 years old I play it at home in RPET and in concert. And, although it still happens m'merveiller. Dtaillons sounds:
- Saturation: on the bridge pickup (HFS), the sound is standard! It is both fat and round like gibson and at the same time more modern and cutting edge (I think we should be close to Seymour duncun) in rhythm, it's hyper prcis and the solo Harmonics are the o and sometimes they surprise us ask, because the guitar rpond everything, what is vibrating! And the question of its type, it is not in the agressivit Emg (I had before), which allows for the large rock without falling into the metal. - I love this guitar because it suits me, it is among the heirloom of the past for the modern violin and electronics. What I like most is the comfort of the handle and the sound that is rich in harmonics.
- Could be the BMOL slecteur the rotary is not always very practical, but since I have my fender I finally realized that the standard 5 slecteur positions is much more Easy magna; matter of habit really.
- Ah, the price! This may be the most ngatif of this guitar; the era (2004), it took 2500! (And again I do not mean that custum taient 3000) But the quality has its price. That may be why I would put a 9 / 10 for the report qualitprix.
- But despite that price, I definitely do it again this choice. (So that 9 / 10 is really only for the price, the rest is Obviously 10/10)
