[NAMM] Schecter Corey Smoot Artist Guitar

Corey Smoot - aka Flattus Maximus, guitarist for the heavy-metal band GWAR - has teamed up with Schecter Guitars Art Director Bryan Wickmann to produce the Corey Smoot Artist Guitar, which he's demoing at NAMM.
The Corey Smoot signature is a devilishly designed creation that employs a single EMG active 81 pickup, Floyd Rose tremolo and a kill switch. The double cut four-horned monster is made of Mahogany with an Ultra Access set neck and Ebony 24-fret board.

The least you can say is that the “intense graphic”, which was dreamed up by the two over several months of planning, draws instant attention.

“Corey really wanted his guitar to be completely different from anything anyone has ever seen before. It had to fit the GWAR motif and we’re thrilled by the outcome, we nailed it, ” Wickmann says.

With this thing, no one can guarantee you’ll be taken seriously, but people will certainly notice you. Although you may have to work some more to get the matching outfit right.
