The VHT i-Series debuts with the i-16 head and combo. The amps are analog, with 12AX7 valves in the preamp stage, and thanks to the VHT Tone-Link jack and its special circuit with built-in filtering, you can access the music and modeling apps stores on your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (Bias, JamUp, AmpliTube and even GarageBand).
The i-16 amps can also use music software on your computer (ReValver, Native Instruments software, your DAW…) via the PC In and Out jacks.
The control panel on the amps features volume, tone and master knobs. The volume knob also includes a footswitchable pull-boost in case you need more gain.
You can also connect a music player to the aux input, headphones, a speaker and a line output is available on both models.
The i-16 combo, with built-in 8” speaker, has a US price of $269.99 and the i-16 head is available for $239.99. More information about this new series at vhtamp.com.
