Vox AD60VTX

If you bought into the Vox amplification from what it's done over 30 years ago then you're simply not buying into the same company that it once was. Vox is really shown how it desires to produce garbage sounding and garbage built amps. They have really lost the touch of building high quality great sounding amplifiers. I don't even think they build anything in the United Kingdom anymore and I believe it's all outsourced to China now. This is the Valvetronix series some Vox that basically is an attempt to be a modeling amplifier company such as line 6.

SOUNDS


The tone of this amplifier is flat out terrible. It has a lot of options in different flavors and effects to use but none of it sounds or feels like a real amplifier. It's modeling quite a few different traditional amplifier sounds along with a traditional effects such as flanger, phaser, delay, in chorus, but nothing about it feels and sounds natural. I've never really did San Jose in modeling technology but I've always been a fan of Vox in the early years. Now the boxes producing such items like this. I've really been turned off to this company.

OVERALL OPINION


These amplifiers have been discontinued for a while but Vox still continues to produce the amp modeling, but they have a newer version of this model so if you're really into this then I suggest going with that over this amplifier. This is not a very good sounding amplifier and I suggest only using this if you needed all-encompassing practice amp.

OVERALL OPINION

Here I have this jewel 6moi the only criticism that I made is its weight and the fact that it takes a vox pdalier spcial, after trying a good amp I dixaine finally found the amp of my dreams, suitable for all styles priced drisoire louse (650) nothing will ever make me ENTSO this purchase

UTILIZATION

Manuel trs trs clear and enjoyable, with great humor. It feels to be explaining the operation of the amplifier by a pte zicos, long in the process of DLIR. It's clear, clean and convenient. Trs readable and certainly not blowing.
For a quick good sound ... No worries, just use the factory presets and provide 2 or 3, as amended by turning the knobs rpondant your needs (effects, simul HP etc.).. Simple as "hello" ... and sounds!

SOUNDS

This amp is super versatile. All members of my group are hunanimes! nothing to do with the sound I had before. I played on two Marshall JCM 900 body. Sr is the legends of rock, but hey, not everything has to be legendary! I wanted a versatile amp with trs DIFFERENT sounds, that sound worked well in all styles. I found my shoe off and one of my Start. Those who want to mtal find happiness, those who prfrent the funky rhythm will find it difficult to dye because the amp is hard s'arrter, those who want the sound of purring Blues have the impression of being in a bar in the road ... 66 short, super bleufant c't'ampli!

OVERALL OPINION

I for a month. I immediately find APRS days days. An obligation, however: the one that costs pdalier turning! Always wanting what is the best I have to order the VC4 VC12 instead of for 280, but a good hurt c_l!
I took the time to compare the amps modlisation. Vox are the only ones to have known Alier tone colors, and prsence crdibles simulations in an amp that also has a power of hell trs trs affordable price. Chpeau down!
If the AD120VTX j'achterai c'tait again for fun, but it is really too heavy ... it is not for the caf-conc ... Unless you have a dust Rood. Make a choice for many s'quiper without going into debt.

The power is in 8ohms 60W (according to the manual) well the technical side I think is interesting or not but I can tell you that it spits out well. In addition you can choose to back the delivered power (1W, 15W, 30W, 60W) so this amp can be found in the room as full-concert, is just one knob to turn.
Otherwise level connections are as it were in the manual:

Then it will level adjustment is so easy are the knobs on top of the amp. It has 16 amps and very well modeled. In effect we drive 10 effects, 5 effects of modulation, 3 delay, 3 reverbs and a Noise Reductor.
Then there are 32 factory presets that are really not bad when you start to handle the beast. Good to be honest and simply put, the amp is very complete: you plug the guitar, it is 2-3 settings and it's good we can do fart "I Do not Know" Ozzy and the to Zakk Wylde. The 10/10 is therefore justified.

UTILIZATION

The manual is, as said in previous opinions, excellent. It is thou, the guys realize that what interests us is to play and not talk about technique. They talk a bit anyway but it really is not boring.

SOUNDS

The configuration is highly intuitive, we have the knobs on top of the amp is turned and it's good. The resulting sound is very realistic, very hot, I will like to see people who criticize the model. I hesitated between the Orange and Vox but good versatility, the VOX kills everything.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this amp for a week (but hey there is between the boarding so ....). What I love most about this amp is the spirit that first gave VOX through the manual and then they make fun of us really do: the amp handles everything. As against the only problem is the pedals. I cleaned the toilets to pay me this amp and I do not want to go back and pay me the pedals (300 Roros it hurts). Good over there not a legend in the hands but hey we gain flexibility. I tried a few amps before and there was just arriving at the Orange level. The price / quality ratio is very good. With experience I think I would do good but this choice can be as barter in a while when I really found the sound I want and get my real rig ....
Its level, as said before, it's really quality. Personal I play with a Epiphone Les Paul Custom and it's going, it manages. Well I hope soon to have my Flying V and my ES-335 to get more. But already just like that, it runs too ....
