Multi-effects box (rverb, chorus, overdrive, compressor etc.)
The effects are more easily editable than their thanks MODEL PCM notch graphic larger.
    Analog I / O with XLR and jack + I / O SPDIF
    Midi In and Out.

    UTILIZATION

The four pots in faade can change the custom settings that flies have t configured.
The effects routing is fig (damage). Nanmoins, there's something there with all the possibilities.
In addition, a compressor is automatically Submitted in each effect.
SPECIFICATIONS same effects are on offer depending on the config (eg Dynamics for the faade)

I use it live and at home. Is happiness.
We do spend more and get used to it quickly BCAN.

    OVERALL OPINION

Report qualitprix INTERESTED trs (especially now with some specials).
A little mtallique compare TC Electronic but nothing mchant (see comparative Audiofanzine MPX550/M-One XL)

I do not regret my purchase and I have since bought a MPX1 to complte my MPX550.
The manual is tlchargeable the site of the constructor and provides a ide of the small bte rising, rising ...

The effects available are numerous (rverbe, delay, pitch, chorus), but the routings are figs in sufficient numbers to use as I did (live), it is true that for a guy who wants to use it in the studio's less cool ...
MPX 550 uses the analog / numrique of good quality even if the sound is lgrement mtallique (but do not push it into the nettles mm)
the connection is complte (XLR / jack, midi, SPDIF), possibility of setting 1U rack and even a button on / off (no kidding ... On the MODEL below there is not! )

    UTILIZATION

Super simple setup, especially with the 4 buttons on the front that let you change custom settings live (very handy for live). One thing I like is the magic button…

    UTILIZATION

Super simple setup, especially with the 4 buttons on the front that let you change custom settings live (very handy for live). One thing I like is the magic button "live" that lets you change any custom settings of an effect at the same time and in proportion (not all clear trs a. ..)
If not, fortunately, the MPX550 is trs intuitive, because the paper documentation is in English, to have a franais, use the supplied CD, and empty the cartridge .. . For a, I put a 9 ...

    SOUND QUALITY

Personally I find that the effects dpotent well ... I use them for vocals, brass and percussion (djembe drum, congas)
The rverbes are tip top, the Dlay clean, beautiful chorus
I dtest particulirement not, but the rotary or other, I use too ... Leslie's better good.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months, and I am fully satisfied ... Take the long view when Premire limits will appear ... What I like is the ease of use (once I opened the manual on cd's it is) and press "live"
The report price is excellent quality when comparing the TC M2000, which is almost twice CHRE.
I think I would do without this choice hsiter

Very comprehensive connections for everything you need.

    UTILIZATION

The user's manual is miserable. It's printed on a postcard format so it's almost unreadable, however I did manage to find the information I needed (mission accomplished!). 4 controls for direct parameter access. I like how they feel. The editing possibilities are good but you'll need some time to make the best out of it. I find the display is a bit too short. I also miss an editor software. It would have been so convenient!!!!

    SOUND QUALITY

The strong advantage of this effects processor is the processing quality: echo and reverb effects are perfect, flanger and chorus effects sound wonderful. Even long reverb effects sound accurate although a bit cold. The dynamic response is excellent: the input compressor certainly plays an important role. No noise... I use it for reverb, echo, chorus (excellent) and flanging effects. I didn't really try out the other effects but I noticed the rotary effects sound good.

    OVERALL OPINION

Very good value for money. Very good effects processor!

I take one point off for an awful defect present on my two MPX 550: the power switch produces a switch-on thump when I power off the unit (which isn't really difficult to solve: even Behringer can do it!). It's the one and only complaint I have.

I compared this unit with a MidiVerb and a TC One. The MPX is better than the MidiVerb in every respect. Compared with the TC, its reverb effects sound a bit colder (especially long reverbs). But the sound definition is very good and there's almost no need for corrections. The presets sound good and are easy to edit. I miss MIDI implementation (is it so difficult to develop a small software??).

Connections are very comprehensive. I recommend this unit, it's a true delight to use it and it provides a very good sound quality.
