Tech. sheet
Small two octave keyboard. Runs on three D cell batteries. The cons include cheap and light construction but this is also a plus as the unit weighs little. Easy to throw in a backpack and take downtown to the park. The vent grill along the top doubles as springs for the keys. The fan is a bit noisy and the keys make a laughable "Boinging" sound on release but the reed voice is loud enough to make it a plausible practice instrument. No waiting for an Ipad to boot up or stringing usb cables. You just hit the power switch, it's only control, and it goes. They are very similar to Bontempi's PK-11, nearly identical but without the sticker that tries to impress you by telling you it's Polyphonic. Of course it is, but you can hold down maybe 8-10 keys before it overwhelms the poor little fan. They can be had fairly cheap online, mine arrived in astonishingly good condition for being a plastic toy made in 1985, but all that considered, it's a real reed organ.
