OVERALL OPINION

Having owned several medium range Ovation Applause before that I found with it all that makes the character of these guitars. Unique in nature, mi-bois/mi fiberglass with a head shape unmistakable.

OVERALL OPINION

Having owned several medium range Ovation Applause before that I found with it all that makes the character of these guitars. Unique in nature, mi-bois/mi fiberglass with a head shape unmistakable.
Applause production, is greatly approaches the production Ovation input range. The only notable differences are for Ovation, the solid spruce top and finish of the head a little higher. Suffice to say that some 100-120 euros separating these two models are for the benefit of Applause. The massive table does not bring anything special when the guitar is plugged. Obviously at KMC Music, they have streamlined their production and that is all to the advantage of their entry-level brand that grew about the services offered and the overall quality. Only exotic wood finishes varied Ovation models can justify that one turns to them. This is finished with a beautiful varnish Ruby Red (deep burgundy), Ovation stamp on the head is not necessary.
Therefore, we find with this little Applause all that is good in the brand. Correct acoustic, amplified terrible. Attack, shine and beautiful articulation of the sound. The key to a quality / very good money.
Recommendable guitar!
