UTILIZATION

I said that I do not use the synth output of the beast!

In terms of use, this is a guitar made for the stage! If you hope to play outside on the beach at the water's edge or in the woods near a campfire, drop it!

However for use on stage, or repeat Wow!

It is comfortable on this as on an electric guitar (no pain in the carpal tunnel after 4 minutes of barre chords (you see what I mean!))!

Access to acute is a delight thanks to the cutaway!

In weight, it is light but not too much! We know that we have a quality instrument in the hands and this is what I love!

Side settings: This is perfect! Access to buttons treble, mid, bass and volume is at hand!

SOUNDS

Suitable for any style!

Of course, not connected you would think to put it in the fireplace to feed the fire.

But once on the console or on an amp! The dream!

These good bass, treble crystal! It happens to sculpt his SON without problems!

It reacts to any attacks whether with or without a pick!

I play mostly pop / rock / blues and it is ideal!

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 2008, purchased 850 € to the used time.

Excellent quality / price, but we must be sure that you will not use naked (not connected)!

Connected, it is one of the best guitars I have used (in comparison with Martin, Takamine with tube preamp).

The Godin Multiac SA has a solid spruce top, chambered mahogany body, mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and custom RMC electronics with a 13-pin connector for control of Roland GR Series and Axon AX100 guitar synths.
The guitar is a nylon string but is much easier to play than a traditional classical guitar due to the 1 7/8' nut width.

I'm a professional guitarist with 31 years experience. I perform a variety of styles as an independent artist and with a band and love to use the Multiac not only for my classical work, but also for jazz and latin styles as well.

This guitar oozes quality. I love the feel of ebony, especially when married with mahogany and nylon strings and this guitar delivers the smooth and elegant feel one would expect from a guitar of this caliber.

I also really appreciate the placement of the synth controls. I've used this guitar with a Roland GR-1 many times during performances and always felt comfortable controlling patches and volume in the heat of a performance.

There's nothing I don't like on this guitar, however I would like to see a wider body as an option on future models.

This is a really nice guitar that's made to last. Tuning the guitar you'll notice how smooth the tuning machines are and how well it holds tune.

The craftmanship is flawless throughout: Frets are dressed well, binding on the body is clean and smooth and my thumb slides smoothly across the neck without that 'sticky' feeling you feel in other guitars.

The frequency response is evenly balanced across the spectrum although bass frequencies lack just a bit for my taste given the thin body. This guitar shines best when it's plugged in and even has a mid-shift switch you can boost or cut at 700 or 1200 Hz.

The Godin Multiac SA is made for the professional musician in the studio or on the road. It's superb sound quality and feel place it in a notch by itself regarding nylon string guitars. The synth access bridges the gap between traditional and sampled sounds unlocking an unlimited resource of potential for the nylon string guitarist.

UTILIZATION

The neck is thin, too thin for me.
The ergonomics are quite good, you're on a stratocaster body type.
Access to acute is pretty good, the sound is ... We'll talk about later.

SOUNDS

I have one of the first multiac Godin Nylon SA.
This guitar is absolutely amazing.
RMC sensors trace the whole dynamic of nylon strings.
The handle is in a classic and a Brazilian, the luxurious ebony fingerboard ... glance I thought by buying the same in STEEL (string folk) to find everything.

AND ... Well no.
I find the handle too thin, sound sensors aggressive, I tried lots of different strings (martin, elixir ,...) nothing worked.
The guitar is sorely lacking warmth.
As all these models, do not compare with 'real' folk, but the sound here is very 'close'.
I played on studio monitors, amplifiers on AER in DI (Avalon U5) over a sound system ... sometimes it's better, but still not it.

The only saving grace, and not least (there may be enough for some) is at noon.
Indeed, the strings are metal sensors react quite noon, even better than on my nylon darling.

OVERALL OPINION

It is often found a guitar not very expensive hand.
I thought of a fad, but it's not just that.
The multiac nylon is really a wonderful instrument, a sound and a unique game, different acoustic and electric.
This magic is not the model STEEL.

The major advantage is the noon, but then I advise you to put a sensor on your favorite guitar.
I sold mine, I do not miss it.

I have a lot of guitars and I replace it with no problems with my Taylor 814ce, or even my Takamine.
on the other hand in Godin, model A6 is pretty good ...

All this is just my opinion ... When I listen to Sylvain Luc play on, I want to erase what I have to write and learn to play!

UTILIZATION

Personally, it's a highlight of the Godin's ergonomics, I am looking for a electro acoustic guitar with a thin table, I could not see myself on stage with a guitar jumbo. The handle is a nice grip, easy to play.

SOUNDS

Its side, the preamp of multiac offers a good range of adjustment, whether on the side of acute low, you can easily find the desired sounds, this little amp responds well. Of course, playing the guitar by the fire without amp is missed !!!!! I use it mainly for the stage, I plugged a pedal brand BBE "accoustimax" and plugged into the console directly. Obviously Godin calls connected to the amp SR Technology Jam series, I never had the opportunity nor the sub-sub to do, but I hope to do soon.
I connect this also with Godin's 13-pin connector via the Terratec Axon 100MKII home it also responds very well, we get a plan of it sounds very broad.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for over a year and a half, I'm very happy, I would definitely do it again this choice. It is true that I bought this guitar used, I had a very good deal because it was used twice. Now it is true that new demand is a good budget. Gripe still a rigid flight'll have been welcome.

Made in Canada. Lutherie of high quality. With barage in X. Can be mounted in nylon.

SOUNDS

Two ways: the first pure electro acoustic, with less feedback and sound very clean

... the second is the VG-88 or GR-33 ...

With a VG-88 + dobro or acoustic sounds terrible ...

OVERALL OPINION

I for 2 years. I also have a LGX SA and Multiac Nylon. These guitars are guitars professional punctual. The sound is perfect and complete recording model with different outputs.
