Theairtightgarage presents the Bertha, a guitar cab aimed at delivering a big sound.
The Bertha is a stand alone guitar cabinet which includes four 10" drivers and two 12"s. A single front panel selector switch allows you to switch between different speaker configurations without moving cables around or switching between speaker jacks. The switch allows for the following speaker configurations to be connected to the main input jack on the back panel:
- two tens, 60s blackface ceramic sound
- the other two tens, modern british sound
- two twelves
- two tens and two twelves
- the other two tens and two twelves
- All six drivers
The nominal impedance of the Bertha is four ohms.
This cabinet seems to offer a certain flexibility, offering not only adaptable settings for use at various venues but also a certain versatility in tonalities with three pairs of speakers featuring distinctive sound characters.
According to Theairtightgarage, the Bertha is also handy in the studio where it can replace several stand alone cabs.
Available in various finishes, the Bertha has an MSRP of $3,000.00.
