How long have you use it?

This will make two weeks that I, the first nocturn I returned to the store because I had four pots of eight who had a huge game as if they were already tired, they traded me and I am left with a functional nocturn. Faders move but this time it with a normal game.

What is so special that you like most and least?
This is a control surface rather compact, easy to use, clear, the only flaw will be that the pot and make gadget they are not cahouchouté a feeling of comfort, but good for the price should not complain.

Have you tried many other models before buying it?

I find this quite friendly control surface, the software works well with cubase sx 3, the automap I do not have a problem, I still installed the latest driver for my cd version of crashes and since it bathes.
No problem to assign the knobs to vst with method 'learn' and more intuitive

With experience, you do again this choice? ...

Yes, I let myself be tempted by the control surface even if I fell on a defective nocturn start but quickly replaced and quickly forgotten ...........

I use it for more than six months.

What I like most is the ease of assigning paramtres plug ins. One click and you learn the parameter moves the mouse, then knob the night and ay is. has implementations in cubase the midi learn and it is handy. Gnrale of Manir, this product offers a lot of configuration options and is fairly complete.

What I like least is that the automap add a software layer in addition, adds a bit of a DAW but nothing mchant has n'empite not on the performance of my machine . I never russi run the speed dial. No MIDI input and output. Compatibility problems with some plug ins (like crash forced restarting pc), once identified the plugs, I disables the automap for these plugs and moving.

I have other surfaces CONTRL: bcf in 2000, BCN 44, nano pad.

The report price is good quality saw for under 100 was a controller with 8 pots, buttons and has Integrates well with plug ins.

I am not sr I remake this choice, the automap me one or two that made my foirages Systm unstable, but innovation is the drivers a day will rgulirement so. To control the vst is great, to control a cubase is less great, the bcf 2000 is better I think. If Cubase had a midi learn to apply VST plug-in or just to quick controls, I see no useful nocturn, pending adpanne, but in practice I think it's worse than in the pub <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt="wink" />

I use it for a year.
Contrary to what has been said, I find no bad production, it sure is cheap, hence the price, but I've never had any trouble with.
like, no worries and instability drivers, I installed the original drivers, I never made update, and it has always worked perfectly.
the soft automap is not really bad, very easy to use, plus all the controls appear on the screen, which could be better? Me I find it really damn well, I'm not an ace programming, MIDI, etc. .... but with this controller I managed once to do what I wanted.
I use fl studio traktor (for effects), and it's exactly what I wanted it to do. nothing to say.
I'll see over time the quality workmanship when he hold out, etc. .... but for now no worries.
I highly recommend it, I had a bcr before that, I'm not even served, too damn bad I find the system of allocating and mapping ... nothing to do with Automap which I think should be universal for all midi controllers, or at least the same idea.
