I purchased the Astralis VST for around 100 dollars a while back, mainly because it was suppose to be a combination of Bionic, Orgone and Astralis range. I am really interested in Astralis Orgone, it is a sample bases synth with a ton of nice features and a great effects list like Ring Modulator, Echo, Reverb , Delay and there are a few more that I cant name off the top of my head. Astralis Bion is also part of it, it is a dual oscillator synth with many different modes. There is just so much that comes with the Astralis VST it’s a really good deal for 100 dollars. I was very happy with my purchase.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I ran it on my Dual core Accelerated processor with Windows 7 64 bit (4gb, 320GB 5400RPM). It worked perfectly, even though some of the presets are very CPU heavy. I think if I was using my older machines that I would have really ran into some issues with lagging and cracking a popping especially if used in FL Studio. The Astralis VST was a lot bigger than what I though it was going to be, it didn’t install very quickly, it took a few moments. But after it all finally installed I was able to use it right away without the need to see or to use a manual. I did download the manual though just in case. There was no hard copy of the manual, it is PDF.


OVERALL OPINION

There is nothing you can be upset about when purchasing Astralis VST, with everything that you get with it you cant go wrong. You will have enough presets and effects to spice up your music and spark your creativity. The interface is pretty easy to understand and it’s a great lay out. There is no learning curve.
I love my choice on purchasing this, this is first thing I have every purchased from Astralis and I will be a customer of theirs in the future when the come out with new products.

Installation is simple architecture and configuration is done without problem. The manual is very well done and there is everything you need to know a good synth and the matrise To create their own patches. It should be noted that a good explanation is Submitted for the use of microtonal Systm.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Astralis is stable but relatively resource intensive (I possde a P4 with 512 RAM: therefore limit for computer music gnrale ...). SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Used on both my computers (Athlon duo, 1g ram, I spent the rest of dtails)
any malfunction, I find even trs little cpu intensive, given the possibilities offered. it sure has not run optimally on a computer dating back five years, but given the evolution of the pc, it seems normal.

no problem on the hosts with which I use (an energy XT, XT 2, reaper, plant and Minihost).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since its release.

I like: the sound! TRS is a powerful VSTi capable of CRER textures quite extraordinary intuitive Manir trs. Interface is beautiful and functional TRS, and the quality of the waveforms, sample packs, and the fx section is exellent.
I do not think that there are currently competing: the synths are exellents HG fortunes but the comparison stops there, the very nature of these instruments is diffrent and they are not comparrables and when other instruments (I know) is no comparable or tariff multiplied by 10 (atmosphere, absynth).

- I bought the version with the purchase of 20 € and frankly I regret nothing

- Not a synth general. is for those who want to sound design without taking the head and get a quick result. You need to have in addition a GM module, but for those looking for originality will be served.
- I tried a bunch of stuff that are very much like absynth but are ten times more expensive. Astralis completely overwrites the value for money. I have not even paid the price of a conventional CD
