Orgone is the best within Astralis

Homegrown Sounds AstralisPublished on 08/01/12 at 00:44
I purchased the Astralis VST for around 100 dollars a while back, mainly because it was suppose to be a combination of Bionic, Orgone and Astralis range. I am really interested in Astralis Orgone, it is a sample bases synth with a ton of nice features and a great effects list like Ring Modulator, Echo, Reverb , Delay and there are a few more that I cant name off the top of my head. Astralis Bion is also part of it, it is a dual oscillator synth with many different modes. There is just so much that comes with the Astralis VST it’s a really good deal for 100 dollars. I was very happy with my purchase.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I ran it on my Dual core Accelerated processor with Windows 7 64 bit (4gb, 320GB 5400RPM). It worked perfectly, even though some of the presets are very CPU heavy. I think if I was using my older machines that I would have really ran into some issues with lagging and cracking a popping especially if used in FL Studio. The Astralis VST was a lot bigger than what I though it was going to be, it didn’t install very quickly, it took a few moments. But after it all finally installed I was able to use it right away without the need to see or to use a manual. I did download the manual though just in case. There was no hard copy of the manual, it is PDF.

OVERALL OPINION

There is nothing you can be upset about when purchasing Astralis VST, with everything that you get with it you cant go wrong. You will have enough presets and effects to spice up your music and spark your creativity. The interface is pretty easy to understand and it’s a great lay out. There is no learning curve.
I love my choice on purchasing this, this is first thing I have every purchased from Astralis and I will be a customer of theirs in the future when the come out with new products.

Installation is simple architecture and configuration is done without problem. The manual is very well done and there is everything you need to know a good synth and the matrise To create their own patches. It should be noted that a good explanation is Submitted for the use of microtonal Systm.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Astralis is stable but relatively resource intensive (I possde a P4 with 512 RAM: therefore limit for computer music gnrale ...). I can still run even Astralis A and B which is perfect for Fast Fashion atmosphere. An effort is made in this direction since optimizations dj t put in place. I think others should be Pipelines Limited.

OVERALL OPINION

Astralis I use for two weeks. I bought directly by listening to the mp3 DMOS and frankly I'm not ...

It is terrible in terms of atmosphere but it does not s'arrte l. You can really do a lot with this synth: the rhythmic sounds good crystalline drooling ... Routing capabilities compltes and CC in every sense: a simple note with an ambience Building is child's play is given beautiful sounds good scrolls. The effects section is effective, it can even make do without the use soundscaping other effects.

I tried other synth in this kind without finding what I wanted. The all there ...

The report qualitprix is unbeatable ... for the price of one CD (21.87 euros), it was at all 4 synths and an effects section (prvue): Astralis A and B which will be added Astralis C and D in the weeks coming and that will support in samples. wav.

It's a choice I would do, even without the offer, this synth is really inspiring and well conut.

Instalation simple (. Exe)
Installation no problem with me
the manual is exellent and allows Manir trs quick to understand the operation of this synth.
it is actually a set of three synths: Astralis A (bottom of the waveform), ASTRAL B (a version of the Allgemeine A) and Astralis C, a small wonder, almost identical to A and samples to use as a sound source.

a test in french (just A and B) is available: http://www.inspira-sons.info/% 40programmes/instruments/astralis/index.shtml

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Used on both my computers (Athlon duo, 1g ram, I spent the rest of dtails)
any malfunction, I find even trs little cpu intensive, given the possibilities offered. it sure has not run optimally on a computer dating back five years, but given the evolution of the pc, it seems normal.

no problem on the hosts with which I use (an energy XT, XT 2, reaper, plant and Minihost).

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since its release.

I like: the sound! TRS is a powerful VSTi capable of CRER textures quite extraordinary intuitive Manir trs. Interface is beautiful and functional TRS, and the quality of the waveforms, sample packs, and the fx section is exellent.
I do not think that there are currently competing: the synths are exellents HG fortunes but the comparison stops there, the very nature of these instruments is diffrent and they are not comparrables and when other instruments (I know) is no comparable or tariff multiplied by 10 (atmosphere, absynth).

I think the diffrence is a lot of other vsti, he does think for a musician for musicians. the objective is to enable them to create their own sound world be without them even the specialist in the synthse while and clear and logical.

I also love microtuning management, this option fails me on most virtual instruments that I (or it is not at all well, and is believed Whereas as one option among Wusikstation else as such or LinPlug alpha). diffrent the lines really open the sound field of Astral.

the presets are good quality and shows the possibility of three astral. a rest even when a complex instrument despite its simplicity and consumers of presets (pgoratif nothing, it's just a diffrent use) will find not just be their happiness.

the support of crateur is exeptional, still Listen to remarks it to improve the instrument, and this in Manir trs fast.

report quality price: incredible. that price, I am the case of the year.

I strongly advise you to try trs, it's really the best way to get an opinion. BMD of memory for 30 days without limitation

OVERALL OPINION

- I bought the version with the purchase of 20 € and frankly I regret nothing

- Not a synth general. is for those who want to sound design without taking the head and get a quick result. You need to have in addition a GM module, but for those looking for originality will be served.
- I tried a bunch of stuff that are very much like absynth but are ten times more expensive. Astralis completely overwrites the value for money. I have not even paid the price of a conventional CD

- I was already very enthusiastic about the A and B Forsythe. the release of version C which integrates its own samples makes the possibilities almost endless and andy announced yet other developments ... yum!

- The MicroTuner is a very big plus. I had never tested and it is a good way out of traditional ranges.

- Go for it! buy it! Although the price has increased slightly, you will inevitably bang for your buck
