Excellent
Analog overdrive pedal, two standard phone jacks, power supply 18v to 9v choice. 3 knob: volume, tone, drive and a small switch HP / LP.
UTILIZATION
Pedal easy to use, there are direct what you want. No need for manual. PLUG N PLAY ... ROCK!
SOUND QUALITY
This pedal offers a broad range of sounds, I think. Between the volume, tone, and drive one manages to have a lot of sound and color. I play only with single coil (jazzmaster, Danelectro) was a damn dynamic! Even when the tone is at its lowest, it still retains a good dynamic. I use this pedal only to position HP as the other (LP) provides less gain and then potato ... I find this switch not very useful, personal ...
I play rock, blues, garage 60's and I use it mainly light crunch (hard to do my bandmaster cruncher!).
At home I have an epi valve junior and, everything goes. It has come to get good overdrive very musical. Creamy or incisors wish! With the crunch of the amp + od, attention bikes! it sends the wood! Perfect for the very heavy blues rock, ac / dc, rock boogie (zztop, status quo, ...) Precision, the knob does much more from the 3/4, after it is a little less nice .. .
I also use it to add a little boost to my big muff so that it becomes even more savage but more controllable.
Detail: really try to feed it something other than 9v it worth it (I use 12v but I used when I had a 18v transformer 18v) You get more volume, drive and dynamic. it really gives a difference!
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it about 3 years and I use it every day. She has never tired. I hesitated to take a tube screamer but after reading a lot of stuff on the net, I decided to eat something other than what everyone takes, although it is increasingly popular. Critics compared it to a tube screamer. (Never tried so I can not say ...)
I never tried other versions of this pedal so I can say if it is better or worse than others ....
Fulltone pedal shop offers high quality and that sees it. It is solid, the knobs give trusts and very influential. Only thing that I find unnecessary is the switch HP / LP ... By against a good addition to being able to use it with different voltage.
I have not tried the other foot forward. And I do not try to have a good time here.
This pedal is not cheap but the price / quality ratio is excellent. You'll get your money ...
