Mod Kits, a company that produces amp, amp conversion, and pedal kits, has announced their latest release: the Enticer.
The Enticer is a limited-edition tube overdrive pedal kit based on a new-old-stock original RCA 12AU7A vacuum tube. The company says it offers warm, clean sound with subtle distortion at low gain settings; at full gain and volume, it serves up some major coloration and has uniquely compressed overdrive distortion, they say. Each pedal is said to come in a hand-designed box, and there will only be 30 of the kits made.
All Mod Kits come with instructions and use point-to-point wiring. Pre-drilled enclosure and all parts are included. What you need to provide are hand tools, a soldering iron and solder. All effect pedals operate on a 9V battery.
