The T-Rex Moller Overdrive is exactly what the name states - an overdrive pedal. I has a 1/4 inch input and output and is not rackable as it is a stomp box.
UTILIZATION
The setup of the pedal is just as easy as setting up any stomp box. The configuration of the pedal is also easy to follow and it is easy to see what each of the knobs does. It is a versatile pedal as it has five knobs - one for tone, gain, mix, level, and boost. There is also a second foot switch to engage the boost. It is easy to get a variety of overdrive tones from this pedal and has a number of useful uses. The manual is pretty through but I never had a need to use it too much.

SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality of the Moller Overdrive is it's top quality. It is a very realistic overdrive and can be used to get a few different types of overdrive sounds - both for rhythm and lead guitar. I have only used the pedal with guitar but would like to try it out with bass guitar or keyboards as I think the tone quality would transfer to both of these instruments.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had the T-Rex Moller Overdrive for about six months and it has been a great addition to guitar rig. It provides a full sounding overdrive that has a lot of crunch and balls to it. I also have a Nady TD-1 Tube Overdrive pedal, and while that has real tubes in it, this is a better sounding pedal overall. It is also easier to get a good sound out of it and while the TD-1 has a few more parameters, it is complicates more than it helps. Having just the five knobs on this pedal makes it easy to get a great sounding overdrive out of it. The pedal is a bit expensive, but I have come to trust T-Rex for making both great sounding and reliable pedals. I'll continue to hold on to my Moller until something else comes along that is better!

OD + boost, it sounds!
Published on 03/29/12 at 11:46 (This content has been automatically translated from French)It is therefore an overdrive + boost, non-editable, non-rack, and a priori analogue. The connection is simple: 1 In, 1 Out, and a plug-type Boss 9V center negative.
UTILIZATION
The config is pretty simple: four knobs and a push-push switch to adjust the OD, a footswitch to turn it on and off, and boost side, a knob and a footswitch.
On the OD: GAIN knob for a ... gain, and if! Then a knob TONE for tone.
The push-push switch, lets wording VOICE according to the manufacturer to give the pickups to sound more like double. But what about its action on the double?? I can not answer that question because I only have the single coil at home. Anyway, it is true that the same riff played...…

The push-push switch, lets wording VOICE according to the manufacturer to give the pickups to sound more like double. But what about its action on the double?? I can not answer that question because I only have the single coil at home. Anyway, it is true that the same riff played first in "off" then "on" (I speak here of inter VOICE, not pedal!) Will sound more "muscular" in "on".
Finally, the third knob for OD is a MIX, which enables the determination on the part of the original signal that passes through the pedal to the far left is 100% dry, and fully clockwise is 100 % wet!
And the last knob, LEVEL his nickname, adjusts the volume of the part OD.
Note: the two "sides" of this pedal are independent (can use one or the other, or both), and I think the signal first passes through the OD and the boost.
To boost the party, a BOOST knob adjusts the boost level (really???).
SOUND QUALITY
I use this pedal with my guitar G & L Tribute Legacy, on my amps Vox AD30VT or Peavey Delta Blues.
On a clear sound, the OD is very nice, a very light crunch to drive a big upset, especially since the MIX knob can leave part of the original sound in, retaining more direct attacks with only the sound triaté. The boost can be used to highlight an arpeggio or a solo in the clear, although it's more of a compressor are entrusted with this task.
On a clear easy to distortion (simulation "Boutique OD" the AD30VT for example), the OD as the boost can push the amp (modeling, in my example) to arrive at disto full of life.
Two things I love about this pedal: the MIX knob, and the inter VOICE.
Things I hate? No, thank you!
OVERALL OPINION
I use this pedal for about 5 months now, after trying in its simulation Amplitube 3 and have decided that I needed to!
Compared to my Vox Ice 9, I would say that Moller is less versatile on the OD, maybe a little less to my taste, but that the presence of independent and adjustable boost is a real plus.
The ratio Q / P is "average-good": this is a pedal that is very good for my taste, but expensive (240 euros new, and I watched the PA of AF for a few months to find it it at 160 euros!).
With experience, I'm not sure I'd do it again the same choice. Not that the pedal is not good, but I'm using very little group ... : Sad:

Effect type overdrive + boost
Danish super strong manufacturing reliable long term.
analogue
format pedals just plug or 12 v 9
UTILIZATION
The config is super simple, and use is enfantile
SOUND QUALITY
I use the pedals with a Mexican stratocaster + voc cc1, and I can say that it really is the overdrive that IDAL has replaced my maxon od 808. In fact the notes are much more Dfine, agreements sharp. The bass and treble are clear crystal, with strato and my vox is happiness! The rglages still trs prcis and you can get a lightweight or heavy overdrive overdrive but not saturated. (Metal is not for you) Sometimes I also add that the overdrive on the vox and l. ... is standard...…

The overdrive has the particularity to the mix to blend in or Tubescreamer plutt to become leaner and more snapping. you can really choose your sound as rglages.
The button "voice" activated enhances saturation (I use less personal because the fuzz overdrive is limited)
Otherwise, the boost and it is totally indpendant niquel for leads has increased since its just nothing to add.
OVERALL OPINION
I use the pedals for the past six months, and I prfre widely in TS9 maxon od 808 ... I do not mean the "boss" that are too cold.
I resumed without problem if it does not work anymore, because it has the particularity to be either transparent or colored type TS but with lower-sounding.
Really excellent quality of pedals.
Only regret is the price in nine CHRE, but hey that's all it was worth the money.

A beautiful light green with 2 pedal effects: an overdrive and clean boost. All analog.
UTILIZATION
TONE, GAIN, MIX, BOOST and LEVEL, VOICE button, 2 switches (On / Off and Boost On / Off)
TONE: EQ overdrive
GAIN: Controls the amount of overdrive.
MIX: Balance between its saturated and "dry"
BOOST: +1 to +20 db
LEVEL: overall volume
VOICE: a button for 2 different colors
In short a lot of tuning a pedal for richer it seems.
SOUND QUALITY
I had the opportunity to try this pedal in a store, a couple Orange (head rocker 30 + 2x12 cabinet). That's huge.

SOUND QUALITY
I had the opportunity to try this pedal in a store, a couple Orange (head rocker 30 + 2x12 cabinet). That's huge.
The boost is a real boost, ie it increases the level of 1-20 dB. Ideally, the trigger on the solos, when the overdrive is already engaged. Either we stay on the clean channel of the amp, and we use the overdrive pedal, which is added the boost for solos, or adding the boost to overdrive the amp. In 2 cases, it is super efficient: the added boost gain entry is clear.
The overdrive this pedal is fantastic: it is in the register tube screamer, but much chattering, broader, less "tight". Whether on the clean channel of the amp or in addition to the overdrive of the amp, it sounds very well. In comparison with a Fulltone or Jeckill & Hyde, which have the same options, fuller, more detailed in the frequencies, the sound does not seem to tighten when it triggers.
OVERALL OPINION
I currently play on a Marshall Plexi and an Ibanez tube screamer. I like the sound but the tube screamer tends to "shrink" the sound of Marshall. So I am considering purchasing this T-Rex Möller. Only the price a bit high and the satisfaction that brings me still my current config make me hesitate again.
