Wampler Pedals will launch tomorrow a new overdrive pedal which inspiration is no less than the TubeScreamer.
Though Wampler tries here to reproduce the sound and feel of the little green pedal, the Clarksdale also includes some additions for those who want to expand the sound variety. They will indeed find a 3-band EQ as well as a Lift/Smooth switch for either sitting in the mix or making their lead guitar sound scream.
The Clarksdale also features volume and gain knob, as well as a true bypass switch. It is powered by a 9V battery or Boss-type external supply and is handmade in the USA.
The Clarksdale will be available tomorrow, September 10th, for $199.97. More info at www.wamplerpedals.com.
