VMB's new ADP-15M is an active stage monitor which incorporates an internal DSP.
This 130dB monitor is powered by 1500W class D amplification (1000W for the low frequencies and 500W for the driver). It uses a 15" neodymium woofer and a 1.4" compression driver and weighs 27kg.
The coaxial monitor is designed to provide a virtually flat phase response and enable various monitors configured in stereo to achieve greater coherence than standard monitors. Flat frequency response of 60Hz – 20KHz reduces the need for EQ filters to achieve the desired Equalization, VMB says.
Thanks to the LCD screen, the user is able to change between different configurations without the need for an external processor. The power module can also be turned 180º enabling clean connection cable placement. Optional ethernet gives the user temperature of the hottest power module, input level and limit amount info.
