This is a graphic equalizer 1 / 3 octave and settings. It possde some signal processing functions as an adjustable time limit, a compressor expander ...
It also possde a spectrum analyzer 1 / 6 octave! and an automatic rglage via micro not included.
Input analog or digital. I use it with the DCX2496 the same brand to power amplification in sorting my B & W 802-s1 (see this)
it is rack as shown in the picture. See site dtail Manufacturer

UTILIZATION
The manual is pretty clear ... it took me a Journe to absorb 90% of the two rglages DCX2496 DEQ2496 I reus and at the same time. Auusi time to the cables XLR adapter / CINCH. I prcise rest as I shut the analog 20 years ago (I'm ending for 50)
I think the edition is fairly easy and intuitive (when it was all gone)
BMOL a small, mount trs strong contrast of the display, especially if not in the axis and small dtail, it was not the same color as DCX2496
SOUND QUALITY
The rglages are easy, efficient little GUI is good.
The sound seems good trs, instruments clearly reproduced. There remains a small problem on my complte string I put into the account of B & W tweeters (this is the s1 SERIES of 1980) I just bought the 6001 and tweeters Polkaudio ribbon to compare. It's impressive to see the work rglage automatic.
Your exact trs is good, as with my AVR745 or Yamaha DSP3090 AVR1400 or Denon but much better than 3806 (see this) Little more Behringer are the plethora of small rglages such as being able manually limit the number of a correction in dB + and - or choose the auto frquences RULES especially in the low end. J would have AIM, however, a limit to rgler sparment up and down. It is not good to want to compensate me for example, del 6 dB in a low HP, for a rsonance attnuer cons of -15 dB does not shock me.
The display allowed me to see immediately that the three of BMA 801 HP were not the same performance and compensate for the DCX. I use my string on all types of music from the dancefloor to classical stringed instruments and organ, etc.;
OVERALL OPINION
Incredible to have such a unit this price!
I make my era the 10 bands equalizer and a spectrum analyzer (240 drill holes lol)
The report price is poustouflant quality, I do not understand dtracteurs brand for ct technique, for reliability and customer service I can not comment. For reliability I can even tell when I possde DSP8024 a properly functioning for 3 years and I bought used.
Particular feature I like least, contrast and color display.
I would do this choice probably, I'll probably buy a 2nd for surround and can be a signal processing in the same brand.
Finally, I expect the microphone type 8000 (a month late even when, controlled mid October 2008)
