For my exprience on this map with a P 600 EB (6309 MS mre card with VIA chip and 320M of memory), I have problem when I reach the 32 to see giga studio ( + final crackling crash ncessitant a reboot).
I pass sr (Athlon 1200 bus card KTM 200 PRO2 VIA chip and 320 M of RAM memory) and see no problem for operation 150 30 45% CPU.
In both cases, I had an interruption numro reserved.
At the sound, the quality is perfect.

Tip: fetch the latest drivers for your motherboard and the XP driver for the card on the site ST-Audio.
ATTENTION, if the IRQ of the sound card is shared: system crash guaranteed! (It's weird at first)

On this test read plugins I have 4 + the effects of the first test a VST track: I am 60% CPU utilization and 30% of SD.
