I only use on rare occasions. I connected to the reverse function of my Boss Loop Station RC20XL.
We can not be simpler. Carcass to the air very solid but I think we should still be careful not to hit too hard on it at the time of excitation.
What I love about this little pedal is that it can be connected to another FS-5U or FS-5L, it is anti slip but mostly it works without batteries and power supply and that c ' is good for the planet.
The less I say the design, a bit too harsh for my taste. We say a spare part of a synth 80s. Yuck! When ignoble for music. Finally it is a detail
