Radial has introduced at NAMM 2014 a dual function control switch that goes by the name of JR2-DT.
The JR2-DT remote is an off-the-shelf solution to remotely mute the system or A/B toggle devices to have a backing track ready should one of the playback systems fail.
The desk-top JR2-DT features XLR and ¼" remote outputs, two latching switches (A/B and mute), plus status LEDs. There’s no need for batteries or local power supply since power is derived from the device connected to it.
The JR2-DT is expected to start shipping in March 2014 with an estimated retail price of $100 USD.
