Radial has introduced just in time for NAMM 2014 its brand-new Twinline guitar effects router, which allows guitarists to share a pedalboard and effects between two amp heads using the amp’s effects-loops.
The Radial Twinline lets you select between the active amplifier head’s effects-loop and automatically switches the effects so that they follow in tandem.
It features two effects-loop connections for the amps, which are 100% transformer isolated and feature ground lift switches, send and receive ¼" jacks and individual send and receive level controls, plus a polarity reverse. A third send and receive effects-loop is dedicated to the pedalboard using ¼" hi-Z jacks or balanced lo-Z XLRs.
Switching is done using the AB switch on the front panel or via the optional JR2 remote control with two footswitches (one to select the effects-loop and a bypass). Gold contact sealed relays are used for true-bypass signal flow.
The Twinline has a recessed front panel and full bottom no-slip pad to keep it safe in place. It includes a 15VDC power supply.
The Radial Twinline will be available in April 2014 with an anticipated retail price of $400 USD.
