For some years I was shooting with a homemade PB from the famous range GORM shelves of a famous Swedish furniture manufacturer, dimensions 980 mm x 350 mm, and it was time to make a little fun and spend a l 'alu!

My choice was immediately turned Pedaltrain range, but I could not find a format that suits me PB in their range. I wanted to stay in the 300 mm width for not adding the third row of pedals, I'm not Fred Astaire, and suddenly all widths were inadequate, fortunately AFien (Trout not to call it) me Emma Electronic discover the topic Pedalboard and Rack (Viendez! ...).

In the same price range as the Pedaltrain, with in addition a Hard Case thunder and beautiful aluminum profiles, I jumped at the chance! No user yet reported on AF product sheet does not exist, I started as a Beta tester.

Unlike Pedaltrain, the AmARHyll (where they found such a name? ...) Are not made of sheet aluminum but Fabricated mechanical assembly (attached) which makes for a weight ultrarigide ridiculous.
PB consists of two end pieces painted white giving the triangular section of the general form of which 5 are screwed black aluminum profiles (4 for inclined and a reinforcement for the bottom), very useful if like me you want to set a big PB in the strip and you want to remove an element to pass the outlet through ...
Three standard lengths are available for profiles, and 4 different section of the form PB, but it is possible to order custom dimensions on the site.

The dimensions are perfect for my use and my 12 pedals (including volume and Electric Mistress).
The location for / the power supplies is perfect, a breeze to put up with the velcro (supplied for PB in 38 mm and 20 mm for the pedals).
Note that the height is sufficient to accommodate some pedals MXR-like format UNDER the pedalboard if you feel the urge (I know some do ca with a buffer or a reverb that they do not touch, for example).

The icing on the cake is the hard case to me seems quite robust and well finished, this is not the melamine 18 mm as well on large racks flight cases otherwise it would weigh a ane dead, but it looks really sturdy, holds both a dish standing suitcase and is wide enough for all around the PB can spend all the wiring and pedals that go beyond a little, but it is to ride as when it is closed. The cover is lined with foam shaped domes just shake it off, I tried to stir a little and no knob has moved the pedals, all settings have remained the same during transportation.

Given the profile and hard case, I find the price / quality ratio better than the Pedaltrain.

NOTE: The PB is supposed to be delivered in kit to assemble yourself but when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised to find everything already assembled, glued velcro and rubber feet screwed, there was more than to put the pedals on and the power supply below.
