No freeware for Mac this week, but Windows users can enjoy the Fender Frontman 25R modeled by AXP SoftAmp as a VST plug-in.
It’s been a while since AXP SoftAmp launched a new plug-in, so we wanted to welcome him back by highlighting his brand new FM25 plug-in.
This Virtual-Analog model allows you to add to your DAW on PC the sound of the Fender Frontman 25R solid-state guitar combo. You’ll find in the plug-in the two channels, the reverb and the 3-band EQ and will be able to output through a 1×10” or 2×12” speaker setups.
The special AXP touch is the addition of an AXP Mod switch that will replace all the gain stages with triode valves (based on the SoftAmp 3OD algorithm) and modify the mid band frequency response.
The SoftAmp FM25 is available for free download from www.soft-amp.com/softamp-fm25.
Have a great week-end!
