this is my first reflection, and I confess that I fingered a problem
because for me AMPLITUBE (with which no problem and what fun !!!!!) I wanted to try guitar ring
but here was installing it told me that my not being given clean processor that does not support SSE
(ATHLON 1.2GHz 512ddram)
I find unfortunate is that no precise so if you can pull ca eviterer to download demos for nothing
well when knowing that my gear is not to last generation (something I highly rectifies {Christmas}
I believe that the other is entitled to know that it takes a SSE compatible processor

When Native Instruments Guitar Rig 1 came out, I was very excited to get it. It has come along ways since version one but still version 1 was what set the ground floor for everything after that. When I purchased it , it came with a Rig Kontrol foot pedal /controller to give the real feel of a foot pedal. I did have some issues with getting the foot pedal to work right on my Windows computer at the time; I think I was running Windows XP. I had to jump through all sorts of loops to get it to work right but after about 30 minutes of trouble shooting I had it figured it. But the software installed great and I was able to load up the plug in without any issues.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

There are a bunch of presets that are copied from major songs in Guitar Rig, I didn’t like using them because they sound so identical to the actual sound of the song it felt like I was copying but it definitely would use the presets to build off of and create something new from. The cabinet and microphone can be altered in different settings with the microphone positioning giving a completely different sound. The amps that inspired Guitar Rig 1 are the Mesa/Boogie Rectifier and the Marshal Plexi 50W.

OVERALL OPINION

When Guitar Rig 2 came out I was able to have both of them installed simultaneously because they were two completely different programs. But when version 3 came out for some reason it got installed over version 1 and 2 which I was very upset about because I lost all of my custom presets and never got them back. Now I am running Guitar Rig 5 and love using. It is one of my favorite plug ins of all times, I use it on my instrument and drum tracks to try out new things. I do wish Native Instruments to spend some time creating presets that are not so based off of “popular” songs because sometimes I feel like they overdue it. But none the less, this is one of my favorite plug ins to work with.

This was a recommendation from my brother whose a guitar player. I purchased this software a couple of years ago and I've being surprised with how much you can do with it since. This piece of software simulates various amps, microphones and effects, including distortion, reverb, modulation and equalization. It simulates so perfectly that it will make you sound like a couple grand, literally, reproducing famous microphones like Shure and Neumann and amps like Fender and Marshall. I've recorded not only guitars through it, you can do a lot with drums and vocal tracks as well.
You will find this software in the market for a price of $99, not including the control pedal or interface (both parts of the guitar rig pro package).

I would say the great advantage of owning this software is the ability of getting the sound of your guitar or bass through all these well known brands of amps, mics and effects without having to owning them. It probably it would cost you a few grand to have a real version of every single one. Besides that, all the customization you can do with it, gives you great ways to achieve the sound you are looking for.

Great install, very friendly, everything is clear!

Foctionne software fine on a P4 2.4. E-MU 1820m.
3 ms latency, so very playable.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had two weeks, the sound is huge, we rgale test combinations, effects, pramplis ...
DIFFERENT microphones are the thundering of modliss ism, their positioning on HP crdible.
Small problem: the software does not prvoit positioning prcis more, there are only four pRSET.

I currently play on Roland VG-88, which also has the amp modlisation among others, and I find myself imagining scne on the Guitar Rig on a laptop!
The Amplitube Antares seems little cot.

Although sr, this software is made for live, then € 500 is not much, but rejoutez € 2,000 for a laptop can give you the power and reliability ncessaire! (It requires a lot of resources !...).

In short, the future, forget the firms that do not fit into your wagon, which get damaged and larsenent, here you go year Smart rooms, a laptop, guitar prfre , and a pdalier ear monitor ...

I think that is ncessaire DI output (lamp, like Avalon U5!) Exploded for all harmonics.

I have a PC Pentium IV 2.6 GHz, 256 MB RAM, 80 GB HD, sound card Terratec DMX 6Fire 24/96.
Latency below 5 ms!
More stable than I spend 5 hours on it (we never tire of it!), And still works as well!

Three-day version dmo, now one week into the regular version.

I tried Amplitube before the program ... incomparable! Guitar Rig will rconcillier allergic to the computer with the computer music!
For the price was worth more than the coup, because the program y'en at least 20,000 Euros multiple gear and then it's sold with the pedals that allows any specially controlled l with a foot ...
I would do this choice? Vident!

No problem to use the software. Everything is very simple, rglage amps, effect. Guitar Rig is immediately recognized by Digital Performer. Just rgler latency depending on your config if you hear little sounds bizare and you're the head of a truck stuff.

I use Guitar Rig with a powerbook 1.5 ghz, an M-audio sound card and speakers Genelec 1030. Everything works and merveeille, say anything of this well thought out ct well done ...

OVERALL OPINION

This is a newcomer to the field of simulation and it is true that the machine is impressive. it gives the ACCS rglages subtle as the mark of microphones, speakers. can be the same rgler bias on the mesa boogie and choose between lamps or diode rectifier. If everyone does not understand, it is quite subtle rglages found the correct heads. Basically it seems Systm tell you that a fairly simple Manir you can have all the sounds in the history of electric guitar for 450 euros. So what?? Well it's really good except that a is not the sound of an amp lamp. I have a rectoverb and has cost the gnlec arrive finely diffrence between a recording studio with real mics and the same thing on Guitar Gig. ay similar but not as dynamic, not as harmonic, not magic 3D sound and rponse to touch the strings did not see anything. So rsultat races. If you have a good computer and monitor speakers + a good sound card (around 3000 euros). For 450 euros you can have fun and have a range of its INTERESTED and some fairly cratifs. My sound card is an Edirol UA-20, 6.35 2 input jack on the front, I have a setting that allows me to plug the guitar directly above without loss. I 17ms response time, in other words I play almost live.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few days, wanting to buy the Pod XT, I researched and I came across it almost by accident.
I also have the Yamaha DG stomp that never really satisfied and that the coup will be resold.

I installed the software and plugged in my guitar, 2 minutes after adjustment for any set I put the headphone and, big slap in the face, the sound is amazing, I've never had a tube amp but I ' I almost like to have right next to me and to finally have the sound I was looking for, I dig a little in the presets, Rock, Pop, Metal, funk, anything goes and every time a feeling perfection, warmth, you can feel the guitar vibrate, the sound with a big S has finally brought me.
As said above variations are limitless, and far more easily than with a POD or other multi-purpose simulator in the same genre.
There are still a bit of the great fault simulator in the same genre, a certain lack in the bass, especially for the metal base that wants a big sound, it will be difficult to obtain, but is then trafficked into the mix.

My final opinion is that we should not kid ourselves, it will never replace good old amp with settings handmade, good lighting, the real what, but for the person who wants to be a model of quality not too expensive I think it's rather successful.

between the Pod XT Guitar Rig and my choice is made, I take Guitar Rig!

Small addition to its use with Cubase, the software is not regarded as a virtual instrument in cubase but as a fact, one can of course use several multi-track guitar rig, and each maintains its own program. the whole is more flexible than without doing your part to scratch, you can edit your live sound, and I repeat, without having to redo everything, compared to an external modeling, the advantage is significant and the saving in time, even if replaying the same game can improve and find new ideas. I put one to the effects because I removed 9 amps for breath ... not exaggerate either Dirr is being played on an aircraft turbine, CA Larsen all sides ... or else have to put the gain at half ... and then a long note, the sound transplanted all the other strings, it's been a disaster ...

Amplitube with all these I have no fault except the breath of the amp is less abused ... and with the warp of all there's nothing here ...

The sound of Guitar Rig is very good and very dynamic settings unlimited so to speak ... but the breath and unpleasant spoil all ... plastoc and pedal ...

While the careful ears! Opportunities are endless .... rglages The quality of the effects is impressive .... In short it is the BOMB!
The overdrive is really super good (rare in soft).
This is perfect for avoid to take the head to place the microphones in front of an amp and spend hours finding the good.
Not worth forcing a real impact and a real amp lamp .... but again it's very good.
I advice everyone.

I use it on fl studio amp as Steinberg Virtual Guitarist, your exact FUCKING! For against my PC does not like (a train a lot) ... So I export pattern in the wave and I intgre as a component in my sample.

I use it for 2 years. I need a good amp emulator and I gt!
NI GUITAR RIG IS THE BEST!
