OVERALL OPINION
I try with a friend. The config is = tele or strata, JOEMEEK preamp, sound card MAUDIO delta, guitar rig 2, samson resolv 50a and monitoring.
friendly interface, numerous effects. I mainly played with just one module without distortion amp simulation. The simulation of the air baffle a lot. Tube screamer friendly, "simple fuzz" very very well, disappointed by the EH Fuzz and the simulation of DS1.
I do not really like the amp simulation, reverb modules and CPU use bcp.
For the price, I bought a real amp with at least a tube preamp for a real sound and a real record with HP Special guitar.
But my friend uses it just for the simulation of a cabinet behringer tube screamer (TO800) upstream.
Finally even if the possibilities and the interface is nicer, AmpliTube keeps a better personality with a touch more realistic. And considering the price, I prefer a real amp.
PS: like any multi-effect, we lose the personality of the guitar.
