1 Pro tools and Windows HELP
This is my 1st post. So go easy on me.

I used to run Pro tools 6.1.1 on an old mac G3 and never had any problem.

I just bought a new PC (windows XP/duocore) and installed Pro tools 6.1.1 for windows.

When I try to run Pro tools the computer shuts down/literally turns off when I click the pro tools icon. Did I do
something wrong? I installed all the drivers and such.

When I read the read me files it mentions a PCI card. Do I need this to run it. For your information this is not a ripped version - is the actual CD, and I am running the a 2 channel M-box via USB
