I have just purchased an R09 and I can not get a sound that satisfies me for the voice recording (interview). The gain is too low or too high (too noisy). I do not see significant progress compared to the solution I used so far based on reader / micro + minidisc.

However, I am not an expert in sound. I'm interested in tips to improve the quality of the catch and in particular the references to external micro: with or without an external preamp.

I wish I had a hp integrated control taken without a headphone.
