I use the H4n for over a year without a hitch. After recording over 15 concerts and recitals with it, I always find it to perform well. It is small and convenient to use and you don't need to rack your brains regarding the parameter, with only a single button to push at the crucial moment of recording. On the other hand, I would not recommend using it with the handle, too much noise is introduced. For my recordings, I screwed on a tripod, very stable which is immune to vibration and stirrings coming from a restless audience.
Excellent price for the limited budget of small studios.
