Multi effect modeling.
I'm not for modeling, but I think this is a very small box well above the POD as long as we remain in home studio.
Indeed digital output jack (LR) or digital (SPDIF) + Midi Interface editable by Full pc etc etc ...

UTILIZATION

In terms of the configuration can not be simpler!
Not even need the manual and no need to return dozens of menus and sub menu, everything is accessible directly.

Nothing to say

SOUND QUALITY

I think modeling will always sound quite cold and synthetic. Yet Johnson has big sound out of that pass really well in the Metal will clear its best in jazz, funk (lack of potato in the attack). The effects are good quality overall and the effect of a whammy pedal and assignable expression.
The distortion is much more accurate than the POD, which has a very runny.
SPDIF output will give you surprises!

OVERALL OPINION

I have the J-station for 4 years I've used a lot and live apart if it was the sound that follows the sound and really rotten!
on the other hand when compared to the POD in the studio (except for the blues) The Johnson reveals a machine rather inconcurensable related quality price!

I do not use more now, I have a rocktron Voodu Valve!
