Published on 08/13/14 at 13:07What are the effects or types of effects available?
Amp simulations, HP, various pedals, very complete
What technology is used?
digital
Are they edited?
Yes, via a Mac / PC editor
See my tip for use with VirtualBox for those who have concerns of recognition by the app.
What is the connection?
USB, no midi ... shame it lacks
Is this a rack or rack-mount model?
No it is a bean ... lol
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is it simple?
No special config apart change the output level depending on use
Editing sounds and effects is it easy?
Yes the software on the module I have not scratched too but it looks not so good ... and the buttons do not seem to be made for intensive use (I opened it, see below)
The manual is clear and sufficient? ...
Not read it, not come with (used)
SOUND QUALITY
The effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Yes, Line6 has a good reputation of the cot, even if we can not have a true sound, once configured to his taste he is doing very well
Which instruments do you use?
For my guitars I have a Vox ToneLab is, I use it for my bass in my homestudio
My guitarist has a version also live my bass player. The crankset is a plus for the scene.
Which ones do you prefer, you hate?
Amp simulation for my bass, I do not hate her ... if I find I will add here
OVERALL OPINION
How long have you use it?
Ben actually I just fix it but I know the live versions that have my bandmates.
What thing do you like most and least?
+ Good sound, lets himself in a corner of my homestudio, good for soft parametrer
- Lack of connection: XLR out as in the live version, Midi
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Yes, I love my ToneLab SE for my guitar for its sound and simplicity for changing sounds live if need, that's okay for my bass in my homestudio
How would you rate the quality / price? With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Well ... I paid 20 € ... it was sold without a power supply (probably sold next ...) and HS state.
I bought a power supply to replace the x3 live my guitarist whose cable was a bit damaged, Recycling his own: once connected, it lights up and smokes a few seconds, ca reeks of burnt ...
I open it ... well ... I think Pègue POD has a drop of beer or something style: D
After a good cleaning, and saw the nose, it turns out that the switch that is causing the problem (it smells burnt, and the inside is charred) on these models, recurring problem. Well I fire him and put a wire to replace it ... have to unplug it to turn it off but at least more concern ... I reconnect ... no better: / It was listed as smoke, diodes have morflées also ... I give you the ref at RS if AC can help (I'll may be a tutorial)

I have changed all of the sudden ... it comes with 25 anyway and that way it's done: D
Since nickel, everything works well
